Okay.. I am going to see my girlfriend of about 5 months in a couple of days.. she lives in Oregon and I live in California. We had sex before while she was down here, and we were safe.. but I am still nervous.. She is currently on Birth Control, and has been for the last two months.. now what I am wondering, do you think taking the pill and using a condom is safer?

Iono... sex really isn't my specialty, but if you two really wanna go for it then have your fun, just make sure you're willing to pay for the consequences if it goes out bad. The only safe sex is no sex at all, but that's no fun, right? Hah hah... it's up to you man, no matter what you use, or even if you use birth control, a condom, a diaphragm, spermicide, and everything under the sun, there's still that slim chance, as far as I know.

yea, and with my luck.. i'll end up being the 1%..

The scary thing is.. my girlfriend didn't want to use condoms when I come to see her in a couple of days.. I told her we needed to talk and I explained that I am way to young to be a dad (16) and that it would be best if we used condoms.. she was hesitant, but finally agreed.. I just want to be safe, is that so wrong?

No, it's not wrong to want to be safe. If she can't deal with you wanting to be safe with something this important, then maybe it isn't time for it after all. Honestly, I respect that you want to be safe, even if sex is risky.

She does want to be safe, but she feels just being on the pill is safe enough..

if you ejaculate before then have intercourse, there is a very low risk of pregnancy. if you ejaculate in her (prior to your ejaculation before) your level of pregangy is still pretty low to moderate.
it takes 48 hours for sperm to mature, although it gets created nearly every minute of your life.
i would ejaculate the day before (masturabate) use a condom and after birth control pills to be super safe.
other wise, be the classical dude and just use a condom.
trojans are best!

So you're saying to masturbate before we have sex?.. then the risk will be lower?

haha.. I was waiting for someone to get fed up.. I am, and will use a condom everytime.. I was simply asking if the risk of pregnancy will be lower if a condom is combined with the pill..

Koff.
Okay. I mis-read everything. ><

Yeah. I think the chances would be a bit lower with the two combined.

out of the two..pills would be the lower chance of getting pregnant. A condom..there's always a chance that it might be ripped. meh, but yea, using the two..there's about a very slim chance that it might happen...1:100 maybe that it will? but toher than that..you're pretty safe with condom and pills. But the safest would be to not do it at all.

there both good and stuff but stuff happens sometimes..

pills give u a strong chance of getting cancer or something like that... or i read on a website.. cant trust websites tho.

and condoms can always ripe or this and that...

i'd just not do it.
