if you get hit in the side of the head with glasses on your nose will break.

QUOTE(WhiteLotus* @ Nov 27 2004, 11:57 PM)
I'd prefer contacts. I use glasses for far distance seeing, but I only use them rarely. I wish I had contacts so that I wouldn't have to squint to read something 7 feet away without altering my appearance.

Agreed. happy.gif

I would rather not have either. Glasses are known to potentially make your eyesite worsen.

I don't need them, though.

I would get lazer surgery, and correct it, though.

i prefer glasses.
Glasses are simply easy to put on.
Nobody should complain if they dont want to put glasses on, yet, they
do not have contacts.
contacts disturbs my eyes.
it hurts and takes time to put it in, and it can fall out easily
and sometimes cause even more problems to your eyes.
Glasses, period.

lazer surgery will not let you go without any glasses or contacts. you will not hvae perfect vision.

My teacher had it done not too long ago. She is seeing fine, it is just she need to put eye drops in her eyes every hour or so. Ehh.

But, I don't need any of that. so it doesn't matter.

i used to think i would never wear contacts because i was scared of sticking something in my eye.. but i tried them and i dont ever want to wear glasses again, it is so annoying having something on your face all the time and with contacts you can see EVERYWHERE so clearly, and move your eyes to see something, not your whole head.. yea still cant get over the awesomeness happy.gif

I like glasses, because I think I look better with glasses. lol.
Contacts are good too because when a ball hits my face my glasses don't hurt my face =)

I use both actually , When I get home from school I wear my glasses to rest my eyes. I've been using contacts for 3 years now and they are effin sweet. I recommend acuvue. I don't think they are time consuming either , I can put them in and take them out in one second. haha happy.gif yeshhh .

I wish I had the time for contacts in the morning, but I slap the snooze button 4 times so that's 40 minutes past when I'm supposed to wake up... meaning usually(try 9/10 times) I barely get breakfast and hygience done... much less anything else.

Glasses are much easier to maintain but contact lenses look better, especially the colored ones.
