So I was looking at old stories I had written and I came across this poem. I thought it looked interesting. And, since I rarely write poetry, I figured I might as well post it up here. I changed some words to make it usable out of context.. and to just make it better.
Life was pure black, ‘Till you turned it white, You gave me breath, You gave me life. All that I knew was despair and gloom, ‘Till you loved me, Then all I knew bloomed, For the first time I'm free I saw not life, just what came late, A perfect existence, there never could be, I never believed in what you call fate, But now it is all I see. All around me was death, ‘Till I had not enough, You gave me breath, You gave me love |
