A genius doctor made a great invention. It was a machine that would transfer the pain of giving birth to the husband so the wife would not have to suffer so much. The machine was tested on animals and it worked perfectly, so he decides to use it on humans now.

He asks a couple if they would like to try it, and they agree. The doctor then transfers 20% of the pain to the husband. He felt no pain at all. They raise the pain to 45%. The husband still feels no pain at all. They raise it to 80%. The husband still feels no pain whatsoever. Finally, they raise it to 100%, and neither the husabnd or wife feel anything. It is a painless birth.

The next day they came home and found the mailman dead on the lawn

meh jokes aren`t fun anymore when you have to explain them, but i will explain it for you =)
well the pain is supposed to be transfered to the father of the baby and since the mailman died, he died from all the pain of giving birth (haha showing WOMEN are stronger than men. haha jk) because he was the real father of the baby because the wife cheated on her husband who thought he was getting the pain trasnferred to him so he kept asking for more pain. get it now??
