haha it was like 76th percentile though. it's easier to get an 800 on the SATIIC math than on a regular SAT math. ETS scales the test so much, that you can miss 8 problem (i think) and still get an 800.

Did anybody (besides me) take the SATs today?  What'd you think?

I had trouble with the last 4 problems of one math section, but I'm pretty sure it was experimental.  Otherwise, I think I should get a fairly decent score, around 1500, hopefully.

Yeah please do me a favor and don't fill this thread with posts such as "what r da SATs? " and "no, im in da 7th grade sho i dun hab to take dem yet", because they're just annoying.  Thank you.

How can you tell if a section is experimental?? blink.gif

I have a very high score and I don't know how to tell which section is experimental.

I have a very high score and I don't know how to tell which section is experimental.

theres forums on collegeboard.com, where some people can compare tests to see if they had the same sections, and whatnot.

also, there are 7 sections. i had 4 maths, 3 verbals. obviously the experimental was a math section. it couldnt have been the 15 minute section, and there was only one qc/grid in section. so that narrows it down to 2 math sections. one was definitely harder, so i'm pretty sure that harder one was experimental.

Ah, the SATs...those were the days. LOL, I'm sounding all nostalgic and it was only last year. I did pretty decent on verbal (670) and okay on math (600). I also took some SATIIs. Writing, Literature, US History, and World History (620-660).

But remember, the SATs aren't everything. There's also your GPA and essay. And don't stress about them. A test doesn't prove your worth as a human being.
