OK...I gotta question. Now... maybe I'm wrong, but it seems, a lot of girls (or at least the girls I know) arent attracted to the sweet kind of guy. I mean, they become such a good friend to me (yeah, this is about me
 ) and they constantly tell me how sweet I am (which i try my best to be  ) but anyways, I become a friend... and thats it. I mean, I am always as nice as I can possible be. I try to be polite and treat them all with respect, but it never seems to work out for me. It seems the guys who treat girls like crap are the ones girls are the most attracted to.  is that really how it works? I hear so often how shallow guys are, and things like that. and how gals say they are sick of it. I don't think I am shallow by any means, but yet, I still fall short. I'm not exactly frustrated, but at the same time...I'm quite confused by it. I could use a little help please.  I just would like to know it thats really is true...or I'm just being paranoid.

Yes it happens, a lot of girls just like the idea of having a cute, popular boyrfriend, even though sometimes he treats her like sh*t. I bet deep down, they want a guy like that, but some girls are just shallow.

well yeah i don't really have that problem. i mean im a sweet nice guy. but im also popular. but girl really do want the sweet nice guy. cause i have noticed that how my friends treat their g/f's compared to how i treat mine (which is a lot better) that mine usually last longer and even after we brake up we still become really good friends.

it's true. girls are even more shallow than guys. they want to date a hot guy whos going to treat them like cr*p but somewhere in them i guess they feel that they can be the one exception that makes him change. =)

But I would go for the more sweet guy over the hot guy, if I knew the guy before the hot guy. BUT thing is, whenever you learn that the guy is sweet, you guys become like brother and sister, and well, that's pretty sick if you date your brother. Know what I mean? So that's why it sucks ass, but at least you`ll always be there for them :]. maybe you should rethink how you're treating these girls. It is good to be sweet... but it is possible that you're being TOO sweet, and I personally like sweet guys, not jerks and stuff... but when the guy is constantly complimenting me all the time, it can get annoying. Just treat them normally... i dunno if you're being "too sweet", but if you think you are, try to back off a bit... they probably don't like being smothered. Catch my drift?

Girls are really so stupid sometimes, and yeah I'm a girl but I have to make that statement. It is true, we really don't know what we want. I think some of us just like that mysterious badass, maybe it's more exciting I don't know. The sweet guy to me is usually the best friend, the buddy. I don't want a badass I just want a guy that acts like himself, that's all thats needed. Most of those bad guys are just trying to impress the girl, which sadly works sometimes. I say GO SWEET GUYS! You deserve it.
