Going to College Early?, would you do it? |

Yeah I know why is a 8th grader so worried about college already, But I only have 4 years but anyway.
so there is this program at USC where during your senior year you are at college for your freshman year, and well i think its a cool idea, but I'm not sure, I mean that is my senior year gone. But I was wondering would anyone else do it? |

I might not go to college early, but if I go to this one highschool :: LA HARBOR COLLEGE HIGHSCHOOL::, I get half the credits i need to graduate while graduating highschool.
 Thing is, I miss out on prom, dances, and football gmes.

Sure, why not? If you think you can handle it then go for it. Senior year isn't all that fun, trust me! It's the most stressful year because you don't wanna fail any of your classes.
I skipped a year so I could go to college early, but I rather take a year off. But that's just me because I'm lazy  .

If you can make it, go for it. I'll be a junior next year and I'm already looking for colleges. It's never bad to start early.

I'm a freshman in highschool and I have the opportunity to graduate a year early, and so do a few of my close friends, but don't think that I'm not going to do it....Niether are my friends...we think..
Do you guy's schools have IB? |

hmm . the good thing about going to college early is that u can be done with school for good. and move on have a job and shit. but the bad part is u'll miss all the good memories u will have staying in highschool for 4 years. and u'll miss out on friends =\

I actually AM going to college early. I'm 15(a sophomore), but by the end of this year I'll have all my high school credits, so I'm graduating. I've already got accepted into colleges and all.

but my friend is gonna apply for early admission her junior year, she has mostly all of her credits done and shes a freshman. |

well i think my moms trying to get me out the house as soon as possible, because shes always trying to find away for me to get high school credits early, this morning she tells me i can take Geometry over the summer and be in Algebra II w/ Trig then i'd have some credits...

I wouldn't go early, I'd have high school work PLUS college work, i wouldn't have time to enjoy my senior year
 so no i wouldn't do it

l enter coillege when l was only 15 years old
 . to young to face the real word but thats life. Have to on  l face lots of problems and people who are greater that me. l remember my prof. say when l was only a freshman. "why there is a kid in my class?  your do not belong here, get out of my class!"
