i just started using tampons because my friends say that it is a lot more sanitary than pads and more comfortable. so last month wen i had my period i used tampons and it was fine ...

but after my period was over and the tampons were gone, my vagina area was red and sore. it hurt too. after a week it went away...but i was just wondering if this occurred because it was my first time using tampons, or something else?

please tell me what u think, and if u've experienced the same thing...because i want to discontinue my use of tampons if this symptom is not normal sad.gif

i read the thing and it says 'it may cause blah blah somethinghere if you continuesly use pads and tampons' or something similar to that.
have you heard of that desiese? it can kill? o.o i use pads.
so i think you should stick to that, though.

yup yup..i agree with that. Go talk to your doctor. Ive been using them since after the second month i ever started, and ive never had a problem. Try it again and if it happens, i wouldnt sue ti again. Maybe you were allergic to the certain "scent"..idk...maybe...try the unscented ones..um..yeah..there we go.

You could have gotten TSS (Toxic Shock Syndrome) from using tampons too early. My mom's sister used them when she was like 13 and she got TSS. I don't know...that's just what I'm saying it might be. So...sorry if I couldn't help

Hmmm...you should go see a gyno. How long did you wear it? Well, you shouldn't wear tampons longer than 8 hours because then you could get TSS. Well, you should stop using tampons for a while. Ok, I'm done.
