You know what I noticed? Thanksgiving isn't really an important holiday for the Amercian people. I mean, it's between Halloween and Christmas. Thanksgiving weekend marks the start of the Christmas shopping season. And even on the Macy's 'Thanksgiving' parade, Christmas somehow manages to steal the show by being a Santa on a float. Is anyone else really annoyed that when it's Thanksgiving, one of the only major holidays that's not about giving or receiving just eating and being with the family, the stores are already having major sales for Christmas? Didn't they just remove the Halloween decorations like a week before?

Holloween is not a holiday because if it were then we'd have the day off. But I do agree, people care more about Christmas more then thanksgiving. I mean, all we do is eat.

do any of u people even understand why thanksgiving was celebrated?

The native americans and the pilgrams joined in a feast together. It was to give thanks to the native americans who helped the pilgrams. And without their help the pilgrams wouldn't have survived the winter.

So why is it bad that he said native americans celebrate thanks giving.... The NACSM (native american culture society museum) had a big thanks giving celebration today. I think u guys are confused.

Anywho, I never liked Thanksgiving. Maybe 'cause I hate my family? -_-.
