yeah, i agree. it happens even in the pictures forum. like, there was this one topic with the ghosts and everyone starts bashing on them and saying " IT'S NOT REAL YOU'RE STUPID" blahblahblah. gooodneess.

^^ You serious? Well, personally I think the people that said those pictures were fake are stupid because ghosts are real and they can be caught on camera.

Anyhoo, I've noticed that newbies are being treated mean. Geez, what makes people think that they're better? _dry.gif

^ true. I personally got kind of mad seeing everyone bashing the ghost topic. So its a POSSIBILITY that its fake, there is also the possibility that they are real htough... i mean..its nice to express opinions on it but they don't need to be so rude while they do it....the first like 4 people that posted in it ust told him to "shutup"

I have been a bit mean in the chat sometimes.. but I try to be welcoming on the forums.
I have noticed it, too.. more in the chat than anywhere.
The n00bs are always getting booted out of the chat and getting made fun of.
[sigh]
Like Kathleen stated.. we were all new at one point ourselves, too..

I can't say I'm "old" here... but I'm not quite new either.
I guess I tried my best to be friendly here... I can't help if you found me to be mean to you (umm I don't think I ever yelling at anyone here on CB).

yah brie thats true...i dont think i was really assaulted though, because i went in the chatroom sometime around when it started. but like one person goes in there asking for a banner or someone to help them, and they get cussed out. is that so right? they just want help. instead of cussing them out we could politly say no, or something i actually do help them [with whati can]...=/

Yeah, we know that people are always going to be mean. but the people who are yelling at the noobs should at least have a good reason to be mean. i mean, three spelling mistakes. come on.

Haha. But i still don't see that as an excuse. if they have something mean to say, then they shouldn't say it at all.

it may be ideal, but thats not how it was before. it worked then. then all of a sudden people seem to think acting like that is somehow going to earn you respect.

Your completely losing the concept of this topic.

They act like they should be respected, but people in reality don't want to mess with them..like a said before, they think its a way to earn respect.
I never said it was.

I just made this topic to state my opinions on things, because i don't speak up about it very much. If you want to keep saying the opposite of everything i say, go ahead =/...but if you really think that being means the way to go, sure..

um i wasnt disagreeing with you on the respect part. i was suggesting that maybe they ('mean' people) want that sort of respect, and that's why they're being "mean"/rude
