wow those are some harsh words...there was a place in there that said something and after it was "that's a fact". its really retarded cuz what he said was an opinion. and even if the phillipines is a third world country (don't know if it is) it doesn't mean that the filipinos have to act that way. ohmy.gif

second...what does he know about our history? well, i sure as hell do because i've been studying it for YEARS. the japanese have invaded our country and well, they aslo have influenced us in some way. so have the chinese, the spanish and the americans.

Here, in suburbian Los Angeles, the people who match "Young Filipino men in America have become obsessed with 'import racing'.", are mostly Vietnamese. But even so, I think Vietnamese are good people. I'm just not noticing the better side of them. Also here in suburbia Los Angeles, Filipinos specificly say, "NOT ASIAN".

Philipinians are cool.

I'm Chinese. People look down to us too. You're not the only one.

That guy is just talking bullsh*t.

uuuurrrrrm. Well the FILIPINO culture IS closely related to the spanish culture in some ways. Some of the cities have Spanish names. and the language is has quite a few spanish words in it. and the days and months have spanish words in it too. let's not forget about the numbers.


But other than that...all the other things he said were quite wrong even if it is a hoax.

If the person who wrote that hoax actually think it is true then what a ignorant person. To me PI isn't so much "third world". The filipino people are not to blame for their country's poverty. It was the corrupted government and pres marcos who stole millions from the PI. Also the PI was the number one country in producing rice, but now thailand is. Presently the PI is leading country in the fish market, although china and india are quickly about to dethrone us from that.

A filipino is a filipino. Trying to classify people is stupid. To say filipinos are "mexicans" or "spaniards" is not by any means correct. We are influenced by the spaniards when they came to conquer the PI. Some filipinos have hispanic blood in them, then again some filipinos also have chinese blood in them.

I have nothing against Filipinos or whatever you are. I'm not racist.

But I did laugh when I heard that line... something about a perverted obsession with cars... And I have to agree. Sure, white people drive Japanese cars, but they don't try to 'trick' them out with lights and rims and body kits and blue flames. It's so cheesy. Stop.
