Which one draws more emotional pain, painfulness, chance of death, etc. ?
i think its giving birth.
*emotional pain*
when a woman gives birth to a stillborn, its a pretty traumatic event.
and yes, ppl die in wars, but theyre trained beforehand to handle the emotional part of it. like, feelings are not supposed to get in the way when they are killing. which is what enables a lot of them to kill in the first place.
*painfulness*
yes. getting your head shot off is pretty painful...but....
giving birth is reeeaaallly painful. and the chances of a head being shot off is pretty slim compared to the painfulness during delivery
*chance of death*
well, for this section, i'd have to give points to going to war.

but overall, i think giving birth is worse than going to war.

what do you think?

wtf kind of question is this?

id rather give birth, because the pain is more temporary, and id be doing something that will bring me good in the future instead of something i believe is wrong

90 to 95% of casualties in modern wars are civilians.

It's the day to day discomfrots of war that are the problem, not the chance of being killed, which is actually smaller now than it was years ago.

yeah war is definitely worse..the pain of birth only lasts a while..the loss of a person in a war will last forever..yes, losses at birth are devastating, but like VaguelyAware said, millions die in war.

Wow. How can you compare things that are so different? You can't answer if child bearing is worse if you haven't gone through that. And you can't say war is worse if you haven't gone through that...You should title this what do you think is worse...Meh.

Well, put it in this perspective:

Would you rather....

Squeeze something the size of a watermelon out of something the size of a lemon?

or

Fight for something you believe in, yes, you might die/get injured, but you also are defending your country?

Of course, there are positives to giving birth naturally.

Think about it.

A small problem-

I am sort of ... *cough* Unable to give birth. (If I did, I would probably be discriminated against...)

So.. I guess that leaves only one real choice to the men.

But, if giving birth had been given to both genders-

I wouldn't know what to say.

I don't like war, and I most likely wouldn't join in on one and I wouldn't like any crevice in/on my body to be wider than an inch. 'Cept for the mouth, which has to open more to eat (durr).

Going to war means killing people to save others. And giving birth means giving life, even if it means sacrificing your own. So either way, in that context, they're kind of the same.
