OK. so i take band at my school. we have the flutes (which i play), clarinets, saxes, trumpets, baritones, etc. my school is divided into "halls" so orange and red share specialties together. so this year we have okay to bad instrument players.
our teacher mr fox tells us how much we suck and that we all need to practice. he even let us skip class to go see the other band and how "wonderful" they play compared to us. but what really f*ckin pissed me off was that he "hand picked" the other class and put us "rejects" in my class. so us rejects are bad and he f*ckin expects us to be good? then he goes on to tell the "good" class that we suck and he hand picked them. at first i thought that my friends in that class was lying. i mean, why would mr fox say that to them and stuff. but then i realized that everyone in that band said he did. even the honest people said he did. Plus I think its true because 1. he tells us we suck. 2. since he hand picked them he put all the bad ones in one class, and we are bad.  wth.

that. is. messed. up. your teacher needs to have a trumpet shoved up his ass. then you need to tell him that he's a messed up teacher and the reason why you guys "suck" is because he sucks as a teacher. he's a wonderful person to ruin a person's selfesteem and should therefore be dropped.

O gosh...
my orchestra teacher sucks, also. All we do are freakin' "warm-ups" and we have a concert next month and we SUCK. Horribly. and he puts like, violin 1 and violin 2. And he puts all the "good" people in violin 1 and all the "bad" poeple in violin 2. And he ALWAYS keeps asking us (violin 2's) to play a warm-up over and over and over and over and over again. While violin 1 only needs to play it once. Ok, now back to your problem. Maybe u should tell him everything t hat u told us. And that maybe it should've been like, half/half... |

my old band teahcer used to do that. whoever made 1-5 chair she would tell them "oh your sooo great!!! you guys are so smart" so one time i got 7th chair. (i usually get 4th) she started being all bitchy towards me. one time she was like "YOUR TONE IS HORRIBLE!!DO YOU NOT KNOW HOW TO TUNE YOUR TRUMPET?" then i make one little mistake she'd pick at it "IT'S NOT B FLAT IT'S BE NATURAL. HOW DUMB CAN YOU GET?" then we had section shake up, and i got 4th chair. she didn't pick on me anymore but she praised me. i was like ok that's not right.

shouldn't everyone play at the same group? what kind of mess up teacher do these things? well, other then yours =/ write him a letter signed by everyone on your "group" and tell him he need to fix whatever he should have not done in the first place, hope the petition help

is this a middle school band? because in middle school, we had 2 band classes and all the good people just happened to be in one class, while the other was stuck being sucky and playng anasazi all semester. it was really aggrivating. and now, the people in the good class are in the lower bands in high school, like me
now we have 3 classes, based on playing ability, so we expect it to be that way. im stuck in the lowest class for the second year, and now its mostly freshmen and its terrible, but even though i have improved a ton, they cant move me up because of schedual conflicts and because there are already too many clarinets in the other class, so thats pretty damn annoying too |

well I was being nice and only saying that. I had more but cut it down to that. Also that is not spamming. I think if I just said, "Yabba Dabba Doo!" that might classify.

alright, but theres an entire what instrument do you play thread! post it there. that was not a point of this topic. in what way should it be dr phil-ish? that would make you creepier than you are already. its like if you were a counselor and the person said hi my name is blah, then told the problem,and then you said your name instead of saying anything relating to what was just said. yes, it was related in the fact that they said their name, but you may as well not have said anything at all, because it is of little to no relevence

Your incoherent babbling as no relevence. You could have gone about life not ever worrying about it. Yet, you have taken it on as a personal matter. I don't think your crusade has an valuency. So, I'm done discusing the matter. I have no hard feelings rest assured, but I do feel you need to not every battle in life on. Till later discussions.
