alot of you say that "l am a filipino" are you really a filipino, then what make you say that your a filipino?
 Oo nga naman!  My parents are both filipino so l am a filipino. Is that it?  Do you still know some of our native culture or our native tough  Can you speak tagalog Hhhhm  seguro? Can you tell me some things that makes you say that your a filipino? or answer this if you are a real filipino  who is our national hero? what is the tagalog term of "l love you"? who kill ferdinand magelan? who is erap? Do you like dinugoan? do you know what balot is? do you eat adobo? KKK was? translate this "puso ko'y binihag mo, sa tamis ng pagsuyo"? where did Rizal died? who wrote Noli me tanguere? pangit means? maganda ka means? translate this "hoy anong petsa na?" to those who say that they like filipino, what can you say to them except " they're cool, hot, sexy? How about thier character, can you tell me the character of your filipino friends? |

hmm . . . im filipino and i can answer some of those questions
 i love you : thats mahal kita or something like that dinugoan : umm no thanks . ill pass balot : young chicken egg thing . adobo : yes chicken // pork . yummy . kkk : wasnt that the radical group rebeling against the spanish during that time  hmmmmmmm . arent you in the filipino army or something . i kinda read that in another thread . . . the poll one where you had to choose which branch of military you would want to go in . |

hmmmmmmm . arent you in the filipino army or something . i kinda read that in another thread . . . the poll one where you had to choose which branch of military you would want to go in .
=yes l was in the army but l'm not comissioned or active. l'm just a reserve officer. l join the ROTC (reserve officer training course) while l was in 1st year college. |

my parents are both filo and i was born in qc but i only lived there a few years but i still havent lost my 'filo-ness'. i think. i still say 'po' and mano! lol.

yeah i do have many different filipino friends but we all live in hawaii so were second generation maybe thrid . . as for what i can say about them . theyre all different but we have the same kinda of family . strong in tradtion ! .

no offense but you seem a little bit weird . and that you dont like others saying that theyre filipino just becuase they dont have a sense of their culture . by the way ALL different cultures poses this probelm . were the second generation start to lose a sense of who they are . aslo known as being "americanized" and therefore each generation losing little by little . . . hmmm now that i think about it you really anger me with these dumb questions ! |

i'm filipino... but i dont really know much about my culture/heritage. i grew up not knowing many filipinos other than my immediate family members. i haven't met most of my relatives. i haven't been to the philippines since i was 2 or 3... and i was only there for 6 months. i'm very americanized as well. i understand and can read tagalog somewhat, but can't speak it well at all.

I'm not Phillipino but I know the national hero is Jose Rizal from history and that 'I love you' is 'Mahal Kita' because my ex was Phillipino.
