One point i have to make clear is i never said he should be blamed for it if it's a hoax. But there's still haters against Fillipino and well, that hater probably hate Art Bell as well. And why does a famous person make such a big difference? We are talking about haters and now that Art Bell is not to blame, does this mean that we have to stop this discussion?

the letter is signed in the name of Art Bell. But Art Bell didn't write it. The first post on this thread accuses Art Bell of writing the letter, and everyone is reading the first post and getting enraged. Enraged at who? Not "the author" but Art Bell. Not cool.

I never said anything about you not getting mad at who made the letter, I'm mad that the people here are believing Art Bell did it.

okay to put this for the record i'm not blaming the guy who supposedly wrote the email, but i really do have a problem with him saying that Filipinos aren't asian, my cousin consider herself asian and shes Filipino, this person has no idea what they are talking about and is taking sterotypes to make a "theory" I can't Stand ppl like him who just assume because they seen it on t.v/seen one person do it/ or have in they're mind set that people act/do/talk/are those ppl...idk if any of this made sense, but thats just how i feel...

this is kind of off topic, but i would like to know are Filipinos asian or not? as a black person, i have no idea. My friend mark, who is filipino, doesnt say he is asian. he identifies w/ pacific islanders. Also, at my old school in washington( where there were a lot of asians) filipinos joined the pacific islander club w/ samoans and hawaiians etc. The asian club was for chinese, korean, japanese (though i dont think there were any japanese), and the other asian countries.

so are ya'll asian?

I dont know. I dont really consider myself Asian Either. And we have different cultural backgrounds such as Spanish, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese. But I think if youre born there no matter what race you are youre Flip. Same goes to all the countries. Plus I dont care My country is beautiful and Im proud to be in it.

I am proud of my Asian culture and my Filipino Culture...

But, I once asked my mom what our ansestors were and she told me that they were as I quote " negroes' " or black. Also, I see that our language tagalog or whatever is mostly rooted through the spanish culture. Don't get me wrong I totally hate this dude for saying what he said cus he has no right. But, from where I live a lot or mostly all of the flips here are obsessed with import tuning and gossiping. Not saying that they don't have anything else to do or that they don't respect each other I am just stating the stuff I see here. Our physical characteristics are to obivious that we are a part of the asiain culture. For an example: THE CHINKY EYES....Though they are not as chinky they still have a little squint in them.

We are all apart of each other. If you believe in GOD and the Bible, then you know that Adam and Eve were the first humans and all the humans derived from them. So saying this we are all related in some sort of a way.

This person just needs to realize that his words will just strenthen the whole filipino community. As I read a while ago there is only one race "The human race!"
