Ya, it could mean that he thinks you're not that sort of hot/sexy/slutty sort of person, but that you're cute. It could mean that you're baby cute or a pretty sort of cute.

I don't really know. Sometimes I say a girl is a cute in a friendly way (as in she's being friendly, easygoing, blah blah blah), but I may use cute in the physical aspect as well, but usually only for the girl I like (well, and also using cute in the "friendly way") |

i think cute means something..im just not shure what..haha..cos everyone says im cute..not pretty or gergeous..or hott even..im just cute..i usually take it as a compliment, but sometimes i take it as an insult too haha

The way I see it... Cute - related more to personality, as in the way you act is cute. I consider girls cute if they have an innocent, youthful look. Kind of like a doll. Hot - refers to physical appearance. Or boobs. |

I think "cute" is a subjective word. I used to hate the word because I was always "cute" and it really pissed me off. Why not "exotic" or "sexy" or "beautiful." Nah, you're cute. Cute (even though still, subjective) takes on a deeper meaning though. At least it has in my experience. I'd rather be cute than hot. I mean, sure some days I feel like it'd be great to have legs for days and a skinny bod but I like that I'm am an eternal cute girl. It has a great deal to do with personality and probably somewhat to do with me being a little on the tomboy side. I think "hot" is insta-reaction whereas cute delves deeper. Again, though, that's a completely subjective opinion based on my own personal experiences (of lack thereof). |

well for a guy if i say cute I mean she is kinda girly, nice smilie, nice face, etc. Pretty much means your pretty and you act like your fuzzy and stuff. Cute also means that the guy would Phuck you if he could.

Hah, I've been referred to as "cute" by so many people on here. Same goes for IRL. I guess it can be physical and personality-wise for me. Which one do people mean? I really don't know. I guess my personality is "cute" because I'm young (and I act young) and I'm pretty much "tehehe-ing" and "hehehe-ing" all the time.
 When it comes to looks, I guess it's looking young and childish and sweet.

IMO, cute means you're an innocent kind of pretty. Whereas if a guy says you're hot, it's like he's calling you sexy. When I think cute, I think girly and innocent and when I think hot I think sex appeal.
