I'm a freshmen [oh what fun.] So far is it possible for me to actually enjoy school? My classes suck [I have two honors and a sophmore class]. Ever since school started I've been more and more depressed and have urges to burn down the school and most of the teachers in it. Evil thoughts, I know. But if I have to spend one more second in that godforsaken school I will crack.

So... IS IT ALL POSSIBLE TO ENJOY SCHOOL?!

my freshman year, i took honor/pre-ap in english, history, algebra 2, latin 3, biology, and scientific research and design. that totally beats your total of 2 honor classes.

and i managed to enjoy school somewhat.

but now that i got 3 AP classes... ph34r.gif

you should really enjoy freshman year, and sophomore year. because when junior year is so hard. of course you can have fun, just don't kill yourself with work, try to go out more with friends. eh, my school is naturally hard, and my freshman year was tough too- but i managed to enjoy it. don't worry.

[shrug]
I hate school.. nothing positive about it this year.
But then again, I'm in junior high, so I don't know of the stresses of high school.

I love school because I have an awesome group of friends to help me through the hell of it.

Spend more times with your friends!

Hmm, school is fun sometimes and sometimes not. Like "WhiteLotus*" said, just spend time with your friends and they'll help you get through everything.

My fish year was awesome. I loved it. As years went by, I became a junior. And blah, that's when you start to worry about colleges and what you want to be, etc. etc.

High school was a big change for me.... Being a freshman at a school that has 5,000+ students and campus that was intended to be a JC when it was built. It was really scary at first...but I had a brother who was a senior at the time. And all of my friends from middle school went to the same HS that I did. So it wasn't that bad...I never had a problem with being picked on or being all alone....so I enjoyed it most of the time. All u need is at least one good friend...and things should get better.

I definitely feel your pain. I'm a sophomore this year and I can honestly say I have a strong dislike for school! My classes are so freaking hard, especially my hon. chem. class wacko.gif Plus my teachers are so mean and boring cry.gif and I only have one class with a good friend it it. Ugh.

Find something to like. Like a guy. I swear I LIKE school. I mean there are things I hate about it, but I like it overall. Just because of him. =)

And I had to go to high school where none of my friends went to so I had to start ALL OVER AGAIN. Sucked, but yeah. =)

freshman and sophomore yrs are definitely easy compared to junior and senior years. i'm a junior this year, and i took an ap course last year, and i'm taking a total of 4 ib/ap courses this year. complete ew.

Freshman year is the easiest. You should just chill and enjoy. I took 10 subjects in freshman year. I think that is a lot compared to what most of you take. But I just relaxed and take it one day at a time.

You gotta start to enjoy school in freshman year. Or you'll just be very pissed at school for the next few years. And that'll probably effect your grades.

im in grade 9 this year. i dunno why the heck would the school push us to study 11 subjects (excluding music, physical education, visual arts, computer lit., home econ./creative media)...comparatively you're already regared as "very lucky". so just chill and enjoy your freshmen year.
gd luck!!! happy.gif
