Okay, I'm not sure where to put this-either in here or in relationships-, but my younger sister just said that the guy she likes said that she was cute. I thought nothing of it, until I asked one of my guy friends what he thought of me and told me I was cute too. What I'm asking: What does cute mean when a guy says it?

well if u ask someone if you're hot, and they say that ur cute, its probably just the nice way of saying you're not hot. But if you didn't ask, a lot of the time it's how they say you're pretty/hot, without sounding like a jerk, player, etc. ... man, i knew hanging out with guys had it's advantage

well, i dont think it specifies anything because all my friend guy or girls [most guys] say i'm cute, they many already have gf or like someone so i guess thats jus a normal opinion but no specifying lik they like you or something lols.

To me, there's 2 meaning for cute.
The first one is that you are not exactly sexy or hot but you have this innocent wide-eyed look. The other is that he is commenting on the way you act. Like maybe the way you laugh at everything and stuff like that. People keep saying I'm cute. Personally I don't think I'm good looking so I assume they mean I act cute. |

YUp, look in the DIC. Depends on the guy. Even my friends I would take it diff from diff ones. With me its prob the attitude/looks. I don't act the "sexy hot girl"--mainly because I value real friendships and care about my friends--but im not ugly and have tons of fun etc. But hats just me, think what you want...
