depends. Sumtimes music helps, but most of the time doesn't. Cuz it usually distracts me... Especially when I'm doing Math

Definetely helps me no matter what, usually more instrumental stuff (like pink floyd and time-lapse consortium) actually help me work faster I believe... I really don't think I can work with silence. There has to be at least some air vent on or something.

yes i listen to music it makes homework more interesting. or...at least i listen to it wen my mom isnt home cuz she thinks im gonna get everything wrong and that im not focusing if i do two things at one time. she yells at me even wen im just on the comp or reading. she expects me to listen to the radio adn stare out into space wen i do it, cant do nothin else wen im listening to the radio because there is no such thing as multitasking heh.

If it's writing essays or more of the "language stuff", I think listening to music helps; but if I'm doing maths and listening to music, I get a headache and can't concentrate at all. So it depends really.
