QUOTE
Are people, namely M1SSxCHR1SSY, not allowed to state their opinion and only listen to yours or something?

Uninspiredfae accused me of not allowing M1SSxCHR1SSY speak her mind. that is why i responded like that.. that is why i told her to get her facts straight before accusing me of doing that to Missxchrissy. I simply said that everyone knows that there was no woman president before and i stated that to CHRissy herself.

i dont have to keep repeating myself to explain everything over and over again... i already explained it.

Obviously you're not understanding. She is saying that you aren't respecting her side (which is backed by fact), and instead, you are pretty much saying "WELL HILLARY IS BETTER!" You're pretty much discounting her argument by not arguing back, but still holding on to your view. Did you even read what uninspiredfae quoted? She quoted you saying that we haven't had a good president in 4 years. THAT'S YOUR OWN BIASED OPINION, how do you not understand that?

I do understand her.. i read everyones posts... i ACTUALLY DO AGREE with that whole "hilary is not her husband, just because she is his wife doesnt mean they are the same " i really do agree with that. but i never implied that HILARY was better .. i just thought that BUSH really did bad as being a president for his first term serviving. but never did i think that i was saying that "HILARY WAS BETTER" i never meant to do that at all.. but the reason i was arguing this whole time is about the whole WHOLE WOMAN PRESIDENCY, about her being the first woman president, she said it like i was stupid or something thats why i got fired up.

AND DONT REPEAT ME CAUSE YOU KNOW I CAN READ. I KNOW ITS MY OWN BIASED OPINION THAT'S WHY I SAID THAT.

Alright I have to add my two cents in this discussion... and anyone who has a problem with that can bite me... because you all are like let so and so say their opinion and saying pandamonium is not letting them speak... so here I go... Pandamonium was just asking a question and asking for ya'lls opinion... But M1SSxCHR1SSY's reply was totally ignorant... if you read it carefully there was a definite bitchy tone to it... and pandamonium was just responding to that tone... so before ya'll gang up on someone take your own advice... and let people express how they feel

though she's a woman, democratic, and the wife of a recent and well-liked president doesn't infer that she's good enough to handle the job of being a president. she can't even handle her job as a senator and you expect her to be voted as our next president?

There's talk about how she will run for president in 2008.
I don't know if I'd like her to be the first female president.
Why can't we have someone like..Oprah, be our first female president?

So it's okay for you to call someone's intelligent reply to be ignorant but it's not okay for anyone to reproach you for it? What kind of backward world do you live in?

There was a bitchy tone to M1SSxCHR1SSY's comment? More like, it was a "watch-what-you're-saying-and-get-your-facts-straight" tone. It actually sounds more intelligent than what Pandamonium answered with, i.e, "wtf... hello?".

I think the best choice for the democrats would be Lieberman and Obama. Lieberman is moderate, so that'll get them lots of votes, and everyone likes Obama.

Lieberman is far from moderate. He's just far right on some issues and far left on others.

Calling Lieberman a moderate is like calling Stalin a moderate.

I'm from CT. I've dealt with Lieberman for YEARS. He is a democrat in name only. He is far from moderate. Ack. The man is the most conservative democrat I know.

Obama as much as I adore him would have a tough time getting elected, as would Hilary Clinton. Outside of the Northeastern United States, she would have a hell of a time. Not many people like her outside of New England / New York.

What the democrats need is another Southerner like Clinton. There is no way the democrats can get a liberal from the Northeast elected in this country right now.

Hillary Clinton is a liberal in the sense that Mao Tse-dong was a liberal. She'd have a hard time even sweeping New England. If she ran gainst a moderate Republican, all she'd win would be NY, MA, CT, RI, MD, DC, CA, HI, and IL. MI, NJ, AR, WI, IA, and PA are possibly long shots. If she's really lucky, she could win LA and MO.

Though as bad as she is, she's still better than her colleague Senator Charles Schumer, who disgraced himself by defending the actions of the Secret Police at WACO, and then, after September 11th, said that he was grateful for the attacks because now, "The Era of Big Government is here to stay", later proposing a reinstate the draft bill. Schumer has zero integrity, and is just all around a despicable, sleazy man, a combination of the worst of Tammany Hall-style corruption and Mussolini-style despotism. whom I bet has a big portrait of Stalin hanging in his bedroom, because that's clearly his historical idol.
