There seems to be a whole pattern going on. THere's a cycle, everyone's going from actor to singer. There was Hilary Duff, Lindsay Lohan. WHo's next, mary kate and ashley? cameron diaz? kate hudson?
I shiver. What do you guys think about this? |

I think if you're a Cameron Diaz or a Kate Hudson, you would be most safe sticking with acting. They lack teenage appeal.
but a Lindsay Lohan and a Hilary Duff .... they have no problems making the "change" because they are young and have a very loyal following of teenage girls and teenage boys (yes sadly). Plus ... they were hardly actresses to begin with. |

I don't know. Many actors who turn to singing tend to fail at their singing career. And quite frankly, not many of them can sing. For example, as you mentioned, Lindsay Lohan and Hilary Duff, they can't sing. Their popularity comes from their flock of teenage followers, as mentioned earlier. So my advice is to stick with acting.

Yeah... I don't know. I don't really like how they can't stick to one thing... although, I suppose if you have the 'talent' use it. But, personally I don't think Duff can sing for her life. Lohan... she's questionable.

you should make money off of what you were famous for in the first place, not just because now that you're known you can go and get a record deal. plus these people want to get what they call an empire, where they can tell people 'oh i starred in this movie, heres my record too' |

I don't think it's right unless they've got talent. And Hilary Duff, Lindsay Lohan and Raven stink at both acting and singing.. my opinion..
