Hahahaha, there are some real idiots on the internet. I have been IMed a countless number of times about being a "camera whore" cuz I say I am on my Xanga and my MySpace. Apparently, some people don't know what it means. Some people seem to think it means I strip for my camera. Others think I'm calling myself an actual whore. And then some think it means that I like to "cyber". Are some of you kids really that sheltered not to know what I actually mean by "camera whore"?

All it means is that I like to take pics of myself. Ok? No, I'm not a stripper, an e-whore, a cyber freak. Sorry if that disappoints some of you.

Actually, everytime I've used the word camera whore.. I tend to say "Oh, now i'm camera-whoring again... I'm taking too many pictures of myself" or something.. lol But I only probably take 4 and post it up. Something like that lol. So no one gets confued.

Anyway, I remember when my friend, from 2 years ago, first said "I'm a camera-whore. OMG Christina, you're gonna be a cam-whore like me! " When I asked him to let me borrow his webcam. His damn webcam doesn't work with Windows XP O_o BUT NOW, it does haha. That's strange, back then he said it didn't work. [i]Anyway[/b], I thought that he was someone who takes alot of pictures of himself. But see, my friend IS NOT the type of guy who would go and take pictures of himself naked or anything lol. He's far from that, even if he acts a little silly lol. But if I heard that word from someone else, 2 years ago, that I didn't know, I might think of a whore that goes online and cybers. Sorry, but I was a very sheltered child and even though I did go on the internet then, I only went to chat.. pretty much it. I never heard that term before, until my firend said it to me lol.

haha once! i call myself a camera whore sometimes too and once i think i mentioned it once on my xanga and that one time, one of my friends happened to read it. they made this assumption of an actual whore or taking naked pictures or something and they flipped. i had to go and explain what 'camera whoring' actually meant...it was interesting.

lol, the first time i was on cb i heard that word from you and didn't know what it mean, and i was sorta confused, but when i saw in some other threads like the member pics there were people who posted like 20 pics of them and called them a cam whore. thats when i figured it out.

Our generation of plebeians have idly utilize words that nearly all of them do not even distinguish what the word itself means. Now, observe. 90% of my generation do not recognize what many of these "words" that are used to insult many "people" with.

Anyway, what I'm saying is.. many people that I know have no idea what many words that they use mean.

And people took it seriously and mis-interpreted(sp?) it.

You must have not read my post thoroughly because person who IMed me and I were referring to the term "camera whore". Not the actual images themselves. The people who IM me never ask me about the content of my pics because it's not like I post these pics everywhere. I've only posted it here because it's an effing booty thread, so I posted my ass, as you have.

Sadly, that's never happened to me. Poor Roxanne. I perfectly knew what you meant when you called yourself a "camera whore". In fact, I use the term now when I'm in a lot of pictures.
