i do not wear any glasses or contacts but I would love to see how I would look with my own pair of glasses. Then again I wouldn't want glasses. I have gone 19 years without them so far so I guess I am trying to go for a record or something.

im willing to bet all my money and possessions in the world that your mother has brown, or hazel eyes. the reason being - blue eyes are the "weakest" gene among eye colors. brown eyes are more dominant. if you have a blue eyed parent who reproduces with a brown eyed parent - chances are the child will have brown eyes. brown eyes, in effect - "cover" the blue genes. the blue is still there, just not quite visible. the darker your brown eyes are, the more dominant your genes are. here's something interesting - webbings between your fingers and toes means that your genes are less dominant. hazel and green eyes are a sort of mutation that occurs. okay, lets say a brown eyed parent (represented by a capital B) reproduces with a blue eyed parent (represented by a lower cased b).

the father contributes a - B B gene pattern.
the mother contributes a - b b gene pattern. (for someone to have blue eyes, both parents MUST have blue eyes) these two genes come together to form a double helix. the outcomes are : Bb and BB. most your children together (the mates must be the same) will have brown eyes, some lighter than others. 1/4 of your children will have blue eyes.

If you are use to people who wear glasses all time, and they take it off, they look like a different person but I would prefer wearing glasses because it kind of gives you style. There are down sides also.

contacts i think. cuz glasses get in the way all the time and they can get foggy... at least that's what my boyfriend tells me.

oooh, and with contacts, you can change your eye color, which i think is pretty nifty. happy.gif

hm. i think both are good for people. like, the person could look really nice and in different in both. but people who've been wearing glasses for a long time ... look veryyy different or nice, usually when they change to contacts. i voted for glasses, for the 'intelligent' look wink.gif
