Disecting Animals

Today at school I disected (sp?) a Sheep's eye and it was humoungous (sp) and ugh. blink.gif.. Just wondering, have you ever disected a body part of whatsoever at school or home? shifty.gif

a frog in 7th grade, my partner did everything, i was just hidin under teh desk, and i took some pictures, i can't find them n e more, but it was one very very detailed picture of the frog and its.. inside.

btw, i heard that if u wna be a doctor u have to dissect human parts.. which.. i guess most asian ppl here r gona have to do.

An egg, worm, baby pig, frog, rat, cat, and other stuff. Also looked at a cow's heart. Fun stuff.

That's for anatomy. Can't wait until I have to do that. I'm going to become a Paramedic after High School, then probably train to be a Trauma ER Resident or an autopsist. Or join the military and become a war nurse.

My mom had to disect a fly in grade 9 and one of her friends actually had a semi-dead fly and when she touched it when a razor blad it almost flew in her mouth _smile.gif

What about a human .. thats a mamal. I've seen an autospy before and I found lung cancer on the guy (I've been reading medical books since I was 6) and i got to cut up a heart. Fun fun.

*My step dads the head medical examiner for a county in Jersey. Soooo yeeeep.

OMG rite now at skool im discecting a from i lik barfed and i still had to do t stupid teacher i think this is heka wrong!!! i also disected a cows eye and den a chicken wing >_<

we had to dissect a pig last year in bio cry.gif it was sad, and the room stunk for a week. i had the runty pig too.

my group named it cremer after our 8th grade algebra teacher and left me something about it in my yearbook, so all my guy friends started leaving me notes on how cremer was out to get me. silly boys. ...ok, that was pretty off-topic, but oh well

i think dissection should be optional, especially when the had a virtual dissection site online

nope happy.gif when i had to disect something in 6th garde, i asked my teacher and he told me i didnt have to and my bio teacher this year said i dont have to either

yeah, i dissected an earthworm, sheep's eye, sheep's heart, frog, and i think some more freshman year for bio. this year, i get to dissect a cat for ap bio.

I've dissected an earthworm and a squid in biology my freshmen year. I was suppose to dissect a frog too, but the day my class did that, I moved back California [I was living on Guam because my dad was stationed there]. I was looking forward to doing that too _dry.gif .

that's true. my cousin went through this and he says he'll never do it again. he say everytime he leave the place. he smells like one.

a squid in 6th grade summer school.
a fetal pig in 8th grade. we get to choose black pig or white pig...big pig or small pigs...like frozen yogurt toppings.. o___O
