QUOTE(Oreo_bro @ Nov 3 2004, 12:13 AM)
Because our parents and other voters who are voting for bush are looking past the big front of "BUSH GOT US INTO IRAQ DONT VOTE FOR HIM".

Bush was pretty muched pushed into going to war, as he was elected into 9/11 pretty much.  He has also done things for us with the 2% tax break, the education system ahs changed as well, and also, he brought america together in 9/11, thats a big issue right their.

Bush has done so many good things, i know i cant name them all and im not clamining i know them all, but compare them 2 the only real wrong thing he has done which is iraq..and well, yeah, bush has been a good president.

one last thing.

Saddam was a very sick and twisted man, going into iraq migth have been wrong, but the fact that we took saddam out of power is very, very good. Is it worth all the american soldires deaths? maybe, maybe not. If you think about it, saddam has killed so many people and killed anyone who tried to stand up againts him, think about the familys in iraq who were hurt by saddam, yeah its like "who gives a sh!t" but we are all human...and i have compassion for the people who have been hurt by saddam in iraq..

[Edit]
If it becomes a tie, then the officals in each state will have a meeting. Why? because when a tie happens in an election, each state gets 1 vote. 1 vote, so the officals will meet and talk, and they will each give one vote.

if some how there is another tie..then it will keep happening till it changes.

wait you live in alaska. i live in chicago. a big city. 4th largest i belive. Everything depends on where you live then. in chicago there have been many jobs lost. theres people getting laid off. Its getting harder for us minorities to live in the city. the economy is horrible. the schools? please many are going in probation. the whole south side of chicago is horrible. i see no improvement going on. Image chciago is big and there are almost no jobs available for people, now think about the smaller cities. if chicago dont have many jobs availabe, do you think other cities will.

i agree wth yuo about iraq. yea its awesome that saddam is out, but going into war. im not going to argue much about that becasue i dont have much facts about it and then it wont be just for me to say things when i dont have the facts to back it up.

i dont trust that site, the sites its credited with "chickenhead.com" doesnt make me feel liek trusting it.

Plus didnt bush say that he wasnt going to push for a draft in the first debate? im not saying he did im just asking. i dont think a draft will happen, not with how iraw is going.

[Edit]

thats fine, i understand. Im not saying that ur city is full bush, and im sorry bout your living conditions and i wish u and ur family/friends luck with ur life, i really do.

first of all, a draft may be neccissary if this war in iraq is elevated.

what has bush done in his 4 years of presidency that makes him deserve one vote? i'm sick and tired of mother f*cking hicks and elitists give me reasons why they don't like kerry instead of WHY YOU VOTED FOR BUSH? i mean whats important to you? all bush has done is taken an economy wiht one of the biggest surplus' ever and run us into deficiet, he's killing our american soldeirs in iraq FOR NOTHING. we are NOT the police of the world. Iraq NEVER ATTACKED US. it's time for a f*cking change....why can't you people see this? i voted for kerry because its time for a change. mark my words if that bu$hleaguer is re elected, we are all in trouble. especially you college students.

This is how yahoo works their election projection:

"Unlike other Internet news sites that rely on a single exit poll projection and statistical analysis, Yahoo! News is tracking and aggregating election polls from all major TV networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, FOX) and the Associated Press to provide the most accurate and timely exit poll projection results possible."

So it's better than MSNBC, because it's using all networks and AP.

Everyone has a right to their own opinion.

I did not vote for kerry because i do not like his iideas and policys.

Kerry supports Abortion, i do not.

Kerry supports letting medicin from Canada come in, those medicins are not checked by the FDA.

Kerry wants to keep ANWR closed. ANWR is an oil site in alaska that would really help alaska out of its debt if opened, kerry wants to keep it closed, its a big loose for us if it is kept close.

he has also lied about things he said he did, as did bush, dont belive me? lemme show u some things he said he did/said bush did but lied about.

-I supported or voted for tax cuts over 600 times. (Oct 2004)
-FactCheck: No, Kerry did not vote 350 times to raise taxes. (Oct 2004)

-Bush had Bin laden surrounded at Tora Bora (Oct 2004)
-FactCheck: US didn't have bin Laden surrounded at Tora Bora. (Oct 2004)

-Bush has spent over $200b on iraq.
-FactCheck: Bush has spent $120B in Iraq, not $200B.

-My healthcare plan will give healthcare to all americans (2004)
-FactCheck: Kerry's plan covers 92%, not 100% of Americans. (Oct 2004)

He also voted no on death penatly appeals...u know what that is? if u dont limit there appeals, some one can stay on death row till they die.

I do not agree with a lot of Keerys ideals, and i liek bush. those are my reasons.

One last thing, for everyone still in the dark about what kerry and bush stand on, go to OneTheIssues.org. Click on kerry or bush to read more about them.

i respect your opinoins. i know that not everyone thinks alike. Everyone likes this others may like that. in this case its bush/kerry. i also say that theres some idea/plans that kerry has that i dont agree on, but choosing kerry would help the people around me. Bush has not done much to improve our way of living. But you know what, the great thing about this counrty is that we get to vote and let our voice be heard.
