well a lot ppl have relationships online. i m not talkin bout dateabuddy.com or stuff like that, but just sometimes purely from chatrooms, xanga....

i ve thought about it when i see some extremely hot ppl (not that i ve ever done it), and yes i m shallow, i tried to imagine myself havin a relationship like that but well, its just too weird i guess.

and plus, it ll be extremely awkward if u end up meetin them.

how is it extremely awkward?
sure most chances it doesn't work out
but some do,
for example my cousin amy she met a guy over the internetabout ...3 or 4 years ago...they moved it just this september and they are getting married next year happy.gif

i mean sometimes the person you will spend your life with can sometimes be across the world or right under your nose.
anything is possible(wow what a cliche.)

I'm fine with it.
Who says you have to meet them?

I'm currently in an online-relationship.

What if they called each other? Would it turn into a long distance relationship? *shrugs*

I partially it's dumb to have one. But I partially agree that you never know, someone whom you are meant to be with might be halfway across the nation, or even world. So I mean, it really depends on your view because relationships are all based on trust. Being able to trust someone over the itnernet is really tough.

It only depends if you really can trust this person. Sometimes cyber relationships can be scary, cause you don't know who the person really is. come to think of it....sometimes you can't know who a person is in person either. Cause yeah there's a lot of posers....anyhhoo....^^ Um i think you should maybe try it but not get too serious.

I think it's okay.

I mean if you're just playing then who cares where you date? You'll probably never meet up anyway.

My teacher's friend met a guy who live in Africa. They got married online and now she lived in Africa with him. So it's possible you meet The One online.

eh, ur pretending to have something thats not really there, sure it makes u feel good, but at the end of the day when u really analyze the situation, ur situation is just pathedic, if u spend all that time pretending into other stuff like flirting and making urself noticed by others , wouldnt that be alot better?

haha lemmie try to explain this to u in a way u can understand....

Masturbating feels good, but its not the real thing :D *ahahahahahahahah*

I started out like that. We met on Livejournal. We chatted for sometime before we finally met. It wasn't awkward at all. It could have been since there is no way to tell if the other person is lying. But it worked out just fine. It was been 5 going on 6 months. It can be good and bad at the same time.

uhm cyber relationships are a waste of time for the simple fact that if you ever actually get to know the person in real life they will act different, what if they have a twitching eye problem you'll be like " you can stop winking at me now" they'll be like "I cant I have a twitching eye problem blink.gif " you'll be kinda freaked about it. Then again most people that are on the net act differently in real life (some not all).
