People these days seem to against interracial dating, especially between Asians and whites. Is there something wrong with dating someone with a different skin color or ancestry?

I don't think anything AT ALL is wrong with interracial dating. My ex- boyfriend is Chinese and I'm mexican. Although my dad (and brothers) didn't like the fact that I was dating a "Chino"
 But I didn't care, cuz I loved him

i tink interracial dating is ok ..... but i grew up in Canada. it IS kinda hard tho, because of the cultural differences, especially fo fobbie aznz. Azn girls and non azn guys is hard cuz of the parents, and fobbie azn guys find it hard 2 get girls cuz culturally, aznz are a bit more conservative.

i dun like my dad goes into racism.. i mean vietnamese, chinese, japanese guys... wuts bad about them? i mean they're not bad...they're same as my nationality: korean... nd' he wont let me like any other than korean and american... it's jus not fair. but u kno i have a bf^^;; hes korean...hes great~~ heh so i shuldnt be complainin' huh? lols but jus to let u kno... a lot of korean parents...they want everythin to be perfect... they want us to marry a korean guy...just korean...nd' it's not fair... so not fair. i wish they jus understand us u kno?

The thing is, wish Asian parents, they always go CRAZY over the fact that their daughter or son is interacial dating. I've lived a sheltered life, but I still consider the fact that skin color DOES NOT affect personality. There could be a million asians whom I could be attracted to, but if they have a bad personality and such, then I wouldn't date any of them. I think that its great that people would date others and show that everyone maybe look different on the outside, but deep down, we're all the same on the inside. We all should be treated equally. I think that deep down, I'm still somewhat a racist because the thing is, my parents always say bad things about other races and when I was little, I believed them. I've tried to forget them, but somehow, I still end up remember what my parents said when I was young, and those memories stick to you for life. I feel low =(
also, even the FACT that I'm even dating or talking to boys would DRIVE MY PARENTS CRAZY! If they found out i was even dating a guy, my dad would kill me

I actually prefer inter-racial dating. i am white but i love asian guys lol. plus, mixed race kids are always soo cute!! most ppl i know did grow up with racist parents yet i think this generation has a better chance of making things right. Racists need to juss chill and realize all that you are missing

too me.. it's like.. bleh.. i guess it's alright, my ex was mexican and i'm chinese.. it seemed okay :p but i know my parents would absolutely freak out if i dated an african american, i have nothing against them though :p society will change.. and their will be less talk about this.. oh, and roxanne is right.. interracial children arree beautiful O_O; check out kristin kreuk. dutch and chinese :D haha and theirs a bunch of kids at my school who are mixed and they're hot :D

I do'nt think there's anything wrong with interracial dating....though my parents ( i'm asian) would get all weird if i were to date anyone of the other race...i dunno why they do that..i do'nt see a problem with it.
