Did Bush cheat during the debate? Options

well, as our name implies, an end to war is what we seek. whether or not bush is at fault for 9/11 or not is more or less periphery to the heart of the matter, which is the way he reacted to it. protecting america is not "preemptive strikes" and rubbish like shock and awe, but keeping the people informed and strengthening defenses at home.

I guess different people will offer different opinions on what would be considered protection. Some will say offense is the best defense and others will maintain that defense is the best way to go about things.

To win, we have to have good defense and offense and that means a combination of informed citizens and a good strategic war plan. I say that we lack either one.

I was only questioning why some of cBers say what they say about Bush not doing enough and then turn around to complain that he has done too much.

Anyway, back to topic... what about the credibility of the picture? Is that the only one that was taken/offered?

We had a debate at school, and people kept on saying what a bad leader Hitler was. That's really far from the truth...Hitler could be regarded as one of the best leaders in the world. He was able to manipulate everyone to support him.

He was a good leader, but as for his intentions? Not so good.

^ yep. i'm even frickin jewish and he did lead well. well maybe not so much lead..but he knew what he was doing and how to get into power.

as far as bush cheating on the debate, who even cares? that person would probably be appointed/is on his advising comittee if he won anyway so it's basically him speaking no matter what.

(btw, i'm not defending bush, trust me i'm pro-kerry all the way..just making a point.)

Uh..actually, his little "outbreak" was a vailid point, were as yours was not.

The infomation was taken from an Anti-Bush website, which right their should make you wary. If a site is Anti something they will do what ever they can to exploit anything they [B]feel[B] as being wrong. Bush is not a very good speaker, and i belive that he was refearing the "now let me finish" comment to a previous comment made by kerry.

What is his position? He is president of the United States. Do u know that all of the security personel had those reciveres? Why? because they are there to protect the president. The info relayed was most likly infomation on "all clear, no strange movment" yada yada yada, so the presedent would know if something bad was happening *aka, That guy has a gun!, the prez would have been warned, kerry probably had one as well*. Also, like i said, he is the president! He needs to be updated on like abillon things *k not that many but u get the idea*, his reciver would have been sending him important news about the war, or something happening in the white house, hell, even if a dog walked across the lawn.

Point 2.) Hitler was a very talented speaker, which is why he was able to bring his country together, however, as a general or war commander he was not very skilled. Not many care to realize, but it was hitlars advisious that did most of the tactical planning, hitler was just there to look good.

ok so Bush was meeting the french embassador (well french someting..) and he was wired with exactley what he should say to him. how do we knows this? well, by accident the wires were criss crossed and hooked into the room speakers...yes you guessed it! first a voice would come booming out of the loud speakers and then bush would repeat it exactley to the embassador. e.g.

loud speaker : HELLO MISTER EMBASSADOR
bush : helo mister embassador
loud speaker : IT IS A PLEASURE TO MEET YOU
bush:it is a pleasure to meet you

ah but the funny part, bush did not notice this till the whole thing had ended!


and with bush being wired in the debate.. at one point he was talking with lots of time left on the clock and noone else was talking suddenly bush says "let me finish.." as in "dont interupt me" tone. hm...was bush wired?
