Mozilla has finally posted the first Firefox 1.0 release candidate on their FTP servers. This could very well be the last official release of Firefox before the big 1.0 launch date on November 9th. biggrin.gif

Download Firefox 1.0 RC1

Oh, and what do you think about this?

I actually thinks that Firefox is going cool and better. Internet Explorer is still improving its flaws and stuff. That's all I know, what about you?

I'm glad that Firefox is updating itself.
I prefer it over Explorer now...I can't live without tabbed browsing.
Although the little bugs here and there get pretty inconvenient, I'm happy with it nonetheless.

Firefox doesn't mess up your friends xanga. Poorly written code that doesn't conform to w3c standards is at fault.

ture.

many people have mixed the "standard" into internet explorer. internet explorer's html standard is not the real w3c standard. w3c standard is the ture standard that make you xanga or website looks good in every browser. people use like negative mergin in div and they said that firefox mess up their xanga, which is not ture. internet explorer has its own alignment standard mergin and padding in div, on the other hand gecko engine has used the w3c standard(world wide standard).

i guarantee that w3c standard will make your xanga has the best view on every single browser. tongue.gif

I'm not saying it messes JUST mine up.
It messes other ones up, too.
Actually, it doesn't even mess mine up. Just a few of my friends' xangas.

that's because some scripts aren't made to conform with w3c standards. it's not firefox's fault.

It's because everyone's stupid and codes for IE when Firefox is the actual standards compliant browser.

Anywho, I have a browser sniffer in my Xanga layout code so that if it detects Firefox or any other browser, it changes the layout coding accordingly. I am so brilliant.

Y'know when you search? and this box comes down?

Like, in internet explorer it's called auto complete.

How do you turn it off in firefox? it annoys me.. stubborn.gif

no, that's totally different from autocomplete. autocomplete is a bad thing. search is a good thing.

I love Firefox. At first, I didn't like it because a lot of websites I went to required IE but Firefox has been upgrading and I love using it.
