eee, this was a quick write i did on word after reading some walt whitman...

Apostrophe

He teemed the soul from my breast
Through a perfect hole
Penetrated with his boughs
Of robust (yet hollow) steal
To the upper left muscle
Buried beneath my bone,

And I keep choking,
Now, on the remnants of
My soul’s hot liquid,
At once spilling
Between his lips
And coveting the apple
In caramel delight

He is the apostrophe,
Before my name,
Of security, promised,
By the “apostrophe ‘s’”
