well in a way it is to me. cuz like it would be cool if u had all these people who knew u and u knew them and everyone likes u and nobody despises u. i like to be center of attention sometimes tho. so yea. im not all that popular anyway. semi-popular...but slutty popular isnt what im talking about so yea. what bout u guys.

It depends on what type of popularity. if its true popularity, it comes naturally.. but the kind you see modernly, then Id say Who gives a care :)

it used to be important to me throughout middle and high school because I was always looked up to..but during senior year i was just like ehh screw it..its not like it really matters..so i could really care less now..but then again im in college annnnd..popularity isnt even an option..i know thats the wrong wording..but i cant think of the word rite now haha

i think it's important to have a group of friends and be well-liked, but not to the extreme where you are part of the "popular girls"clique and you snub others... (did that make sense?) um, i guess i mean i would never want to be in the "mean girls" situation... =]

pssh, Im not all that well-known around my school, and I wouldnt want it any other way. Im neutral with pretty much everyone, and theres a few friends I talk to a lot. I used to be somewhat popular and I really didnt like it. I have no problem with being the loser _smile.gif

It's cool if you're popular but being popular isn't always being cool. You don't have to be popular to be someone. All you have to have is friends, to me that's what's important and that's what's popularity.

nope. all i care about is having "real" friends. ones who arent all fake& judgemental& let you down. just yea. plus being popular means you always have to um maintain at a certain level of happiness& beauty& all this other crud. then yea you become some drone to being perfect. so yea i just live.

Truthfully, I would only want to be part of the popular group so I'm looked up to and guys. The thing is, my personality matches the popular group's, but they just dont take the time to get to know me because I'm not blonde, skinny, or as pretty as them..

Popularity's cool, but then everyone looks up to you and if you embarrass yourself, everyone would talk about it. And it doesn't really matter to me cuz once I'm grown up, I'll see that there was no point in wanting to be popular.

Popularity is stupid sometimes, cause truthfully no one acts like themself infront of everyone, and you dont know the person truthfully, cause they try to play it cool in order to be liked. Rather be with friends who'd love you if you were wierd or whatever. ya this is only for some popular cliques.. you can be popular with your own clique of friends.

im popular. Im not conceided, but im not going to lie. Its not hard to be popular at all, you just have to be friends with everyone and basically be nice, then ppl just... like you.

1.popular people arent real to themselves: They can, and they cant be. You dont know that. You see it on TV thats all. If your superficial and snobby then your not popular because noone likes you.

2.popular people dont have real friends: i know my friends are real, and i can tell them whatever i want to. its TV that you see all that stuff on. None of my friends talk about eachother behind their backs.

i feel neutral about it. if you're popular, thats cool. but if youre not, then i guess thats alright too. people trying to be popular is annoying so i guess i can say its overrated. iono whether i am or not, but for me it just depends on who my friends are that i fit in with

well....ppl say im popular...but they call popular like the sterotypical"blond" group with all the jocks...well i dont see them as popular...and my friends dont either. they say im popular cuz alotta ppl know me not just because they know my name but because of mah reputation. yea....alotta ppl know OF me but thats different....

as my friend says...he thinks popularity is based on ppl knowing you and your reputation and i agree
