Do you guys believe everything happens for a reason? I know that i have been through a lot of things that have lead me to believe that everything happens for a reason... and i just wanted to know peoples stories and if they believe everything happens for a reason...and if you do... what made you believe that everything happens for a reason? If this is already a thread you can close it.... hehe biggrin.gif

happy.gif Yeah.

I Triple that?

However, if everything does happen for a reason, that why did people suffer so much? and why is there so much loss? why are people depressed? why was there the holocaust [sp?] etc.

But then again.. you need the bad to balance out the good.
And with good brings evil. mellow.gif

everything happens for a reason, cause why else would it happen? even if it doesn't we would think of reasons which would relate to it, to believe that it did happen for a reason

I believe it.

My first year of college I grew depressed. I wasn't well liked and I didn't adjust well to my new college environment. Then I lost a full scholarship and was kicked out of college for underage drinking and illegal use of marijuana.

I had to seek therapy afterwards for my depression and in the meantime, attend a community college. That's when I discovered a fondness for web and graphic design. I declared it as my major and won praises from all my professors and even the Dean for my work. I was then hired as an intern which evolved into a part time job as a web layout designer. I graduated with high honors and even made the National Deans List. I earned several awards and honors at my college and have since then transferred to another school to pursue a Bachelor's degree.

I've also grown closer to my loved ones because of this experience including my family and my boyfriend, and my friends. Now I know who my real friends are.

In fact, if I had never gone to that dreaded first college, I would have never met TJ, the bestest friend I could ever ask for. He's also currently my ex... but I'm working on that. wink.gif

As you can see, everything worked out in the end. I don't regret what happenned because I may not be where I am now. The experience taught me a lot and now I truly believe that I am capable of anything. I also have gained a higher confidence than before. I am more successful that I ever expected I would be, yet at a such a young age.

I think everything happens for a reason.

I thought everything would go downhill because of one mistake. But because of that mistake, I met someone who's helping me out with everything. Life's gooood, for now.
