wow i hope i'm not posting this in the wrong section or nothing; if i am; i apologize x 10
anyway in october's seventeen mag it features an article about this webcam girl who got stalked. Its pretty interesting: It talks about paypal and stuff..how some guy kept sending her strange crap and called her. Her site was 5ilver.net, and she wrote something about the article and moved domains. it's kind of scary don't you think? having someone do that to you? i actually read the article in the magazine and the dude like found out her address and stuff and was emailing her obscene pictures of him and such. he kept asking her to marry him and have babies together (a little psycho don't you think?) she was very popular but posed a lot for her webcam.. exposing her cleavage alot and stuff. so everyone who has a website; be safe and cautious cause you never know who is really reading the things on your website

Eh, I have a webcam but my mom uninstalled the software from my computer (because it was taking up too much space). That doesn't mean I can't use it on YIM or MSN or something...I can also use it at my dad's house. My point is, though, that I think I'm responsible and I know I wouldn't do anything to put me at risk. Most of the people I webcam with are my friends from school and people on CB and most of them have webcams also and we see each other...so I know it's not just some 50-year-old stalker.

i read that article. i felt bad for the girl having a stalker. noone deserves that, but the girl was posing in very provacatively and accepting money and gifts from strange men, so in a way she shouldn't have been suprised about the stalker.
and she continues to pose in pics like that and accept money and gifts from strange men. |
