So.. how did ur parents embarass u?

i ve realized that my asian parents (especially my dad )have a hobbie thats to embarass me in the public.. ok first, when i was at the mall with my parents one time, there is this grand piano in the center of the place, and my dad forced me to play christmas song on it (it was summer).. and i don't even take piano.. and then he made me play some other songs and i got really pissed and embarassed so i walked away, then my dad was like "if u dont even dare play piano in the public then how can u do n e thing else when u grow up?" and then i got so pissed so i walked really fast, and then my dad had a chest pain.... o.. and i think the mall is the place were my dad like to embarass me most at.. dude i remember holdin back my tears for lik 10000 times there while my dad s with me cuz he like to yell at me in the public about some thing trifle (like um.. lookin for William Hung's email address online, cuz he thinks i m wastin my precious studyin time), and then he would get so angry and talk about other things that happend 3 yrs ago..

wow i think i just changed the subject to "why does my dad hate me?"

so wat about u guys?

my dad tells these HORRIBLE jokes like "wanna know why it's called wasabi? well, bruce lee was on a train, eating sushi, and for some reason, he didn't know what the green spicy stuff was. so some african american guy came and said 'wassup, b?!' and he was like, 'oh! that's what it's called! wasabi!'"
ugh, it's embarassing - -;;;;;;;

one time my friends were over at my house swimming, and this boy john was over (I LIKED HIM ALOT) and he was smelling my hair dye bottle and blew it in my face and my mom came running out and was like NO SIR NO SIR MISTER WE DO NOT DO DRUGS AT THIS HOUSE and she kicked them out....i was so emberrassed.....he never came over again and we eventually lost touch with each other cry.gif cry.gif cry.gif cry.gif cry.gif

Dude.. tahts funny about the drug part, and i m sry for ur loss, man my parents wont even let me have guys over, last time when i was on the phone with my guy frind, my parents gave me sex ed for 2 weeks.

My parents, well, my mom to be more precise, tells stories to strangers at parties that're about me. I meet these people, and they suddenly know so much about me, even embarrassing things. _dry.gif

That's just the tip of the iceberg...my parents, in general...I'm ashamed of them, really.

My mom always wants to hold my hand in public. She thinks i'm still a little kid or something _dry.gif And i have to beg her to do stuff with my friends, like go to football games for example.

yes, we were at this chinese festival and they were yelling at me just to make me look bad. i pretended i didn't know them. OMG, everyone was staring at me...sigh...arggh!

my ma does that too. she makes me hold her hand when we're crossin the street. she won't let me go to footbal games either cuz she thinks something crazy is gonna happen like i'm gonna get kidnapped.
