i thought my critique was sorta self explanatory but here goes:

you have too much brown tones going on. in color theory, you learn to have some kind of relief color for the viewer so it isnt too boring. try a brighter green, and more of it. or some white. white would be good. maybe some big white lines or white circles... i like the concept, but it could be better.

and im the only who doesnt like it because im a bit more experienced than anyone else who commented here..

I don't think you'll ever realize how many people you have offended in your crusade to "try" to help everyone. You don't have to criticize people all the time... and especially not in a rude tone. People are at different skill levels in web design and they would appreciate a compliment from time to time.

um sweety first of all im 17 going on 18, (my birthday is in december. if you were so smart, you could figure out what level of school i was in by my birth date). im in my freshman year. so yes i have a field of study.

second of all, i did happen to throw down some suggestions on how they couldve improved it, if you actually read at all, i did that all day yesterday. if other people can pretty much understand that, then i expect you guys to be just as mature. did they post it in here for compliments or for critique?it comes with the territory. this is xanga showcase, so expect people to give u critique and suggestions. and i never said anyone did anything horrible, i SAID that it was a good idea, and it was a job well done, but there were a few things that could be worked on, so dont turn this around on my ass saying i insulted anyone because i was careful not to.

and eh? yknow what? i may very well need a psycholigist. actually i think most people living in this world needs a psycholigist at some point.

As for the person is who 20 with psychology as their field of study... Obviously, you are not certified... and you do not have your Ph.D or MD [to be a psychiatrist]. That would take more than 2-3 years. So, what gives you the right to recommend a psychologist to anyone? Which, by the way, I also know a good deal on psychology, myself. Also, if you were 20, I would assume your username would indicate an age difference between the pre-teens here and you, being a 20 year old. But the funny thing is, I, being 17 years old... type better than you. You should be ashamed of yourself... If you want to sit there and tell people they need a psychologist, then that's just fine, but I feel sorry that you want to be a hypocrite... Because obviously, there must be something wrong with you if you're still typing as if you were 14.

For souldreamers, stop being a hypocrite. And, hell, I'm not even INTO webdesign but I will still give my critique on whether or not the layout looks good, or what not. You don't have to be skilled in webdesign to be a critic... it just takes common sense... like colors, for example... Unless you're color blind, which I'm most definitely not. So, why don't you just scratch out your "compliment from time-to-time" idea, because this IS showcase afterall... and people come here for opinions of others.


And to magicked or whatever it is... Nice layout, but a brighter green or white would make it more attractive...

OH GOD, ONE PERSON SAID SOMETHING BAD. she never said the entire thing was horribly done, and she never said she didnt like it. she said the color choices could have been better, and the lines were a bit rigid. souldreamers, you told her lucy's skintone was bad on her site layout, when that was the point. the POINT was to have her be gray so that the brightness of the rest of the layout would show direct contrast to the vector.
