What is the most devastating, tragic event you've ever experienced? If you don't have one, what is the most tragic event someone close to you has experienced?

Here's mine: (it didn't happen to me it happened to my friend lance and casey walker)

Lance was about 11 at the time, and Casey was 15 (and he was extremely hot-- at least my little 13 year old self thought so). They had a mom, Terrie Walker, and a father, Robert Walker. One day, Casey got in a fight with his mom, and ran away. That same night, Lance spent the night at his friend Michael's house (ironically, i saw him that day at church with Michael). While they were gone, Robert informed Terrie that he had been fired from his lucrative job with a six figure salary. They got in a fight, and Terrie threatened to leave him. He pulled out a gun and shot her once in the head. Then he called Lance and told him to stay at Michael's house for the next week, if it was okay. Casey was still gone. Over that week while his children were gone, Robert purchased a refridgerator and a blue tarp, and a chainsaw. He then dismembered his wife, and put her in the incinerator in their backyard. He lit it on fire, and began to burn her body. Neighbors reported seeing flames as high as 20 feet that week from his backyard incinerator, and an awful smell. While his wife was roasting to a crisp, he patched up the bullethole in the kitchen and repainted it, while also carefully cleaning up all blood in the house. Finally they caught him and found the remains, and he was arrested. By then Lance and Casey found out what happened, and they had to stay at Michael's house. It was so sad... and at the memorial service (which was held at my church) Lance was crying so much but Casey just sat there. We later found out that Casey was getting into hardcore drugs like heroin and cocaine. Lance was trying to take care of him, even though he was 4 years younger than him. After about three months, they had to move to Iowa (doesn't that suck?) with their aunt.

Here's the story online:
Aloha Man arrested for murder

damn thats crazy blink.gif

well im not sure if this really a applies, but its about my friend "jeff"

And its not really an event, its his life . Thats all i could think of.

About 8 months ago his dad died (i think he shot himself ), leaving him his mom , and 2 little sisters and a brother in jail. His mom and sister got into a car accident and his youngest sister(the one in the car) died. And then his mom got hooked up heroine. And then later on his brother gets out of jail, but just like "dissapeared" . Then 2 months ago jeff came home from a party drunk and accidently took his moms detox pills and ended up overdosing on them. All is left is his mom and sister . But those events were really tragic 1 after another. I know i was there tryin to help him out till the end heh >< ; . R.I.P. jeff stubborn.gif

That's really, really sad. I've been through a lot of tough stuff in my life and I'd rather not spill out everything right here but if you want to read about a triple murder in my town, here's the link. It's about a women who killed her three kids to get back at her ex-husband (who my dad used to work with). It's really sad and I feel so bad for the little innocent kids. cry.gif

The only one I remember actually..is almost getting runned over by a drunk driver while I was trying to skate on my blades... mellow.gif And yeah I just grabbed onto a pole and pulled myself up...the car was AIMing straight at me too. I wasn't really thinking at that point, but I grabbed the nearest object to me. *shrugs*

"So share your staries!" Lol, you sound so....mellow...haha

runned over? haha, that made me laugh.

Anyway, my life is tragic. I guess I'll say why. AND NO THIS IS NOT FOR SYMPATHY.

So, my life was pretty good up until age 8. I have 7 siblings and when my parents seperated, 8 kids was too much for my mom to handle by herself. So half went to my dad, and half stayed with my mom. Unfortunately, I had to go to my dad's. By then, I was 9. After about two weeks living with my dad, he started to rape me. He raped, beat, and harbutted me everyday for 5 years. He was a big drugee, so he forced me to do drugs. By the time I was 14, I had tried every drug known to man kind. I never told my mom that he did this (and to this day, she still doesnt know) so when I called her when I was 14 and begged her to let me live with her, she said no. I couldnt handle my dad anymore so I just left. Keep in mind that I only had 3 friends at this time because I was a depressed girl who no one wanted to be around. I was living on the streets (yes, I was a hobo) for 2 weeks, when I ran into my best friend Ryan. His parents let me live with them for about 2 1/2 years. When I turned 17, me, ryan, and my friends lindsay and parsons (who were my only friends when I was 14) decided to leave Ohio (where i grew up) and move to Los Angeles. So us 4 came to california and now we live here and we're all happy. And yes, I am 17 living with 3 people who arent my guardians. It's illegal, I know.

Yeah, thats my life.

my best friend lost her father recently on the fourth of july.....some teenagers were being stupid and sticking illegal fireworks into metal like nitrogen canisters and one of the canisters exploded...causing shreds of metal to go flying well one of the pieces of metal hit her dad who was like 60 feet away and it hit one of his major arteries.....and i guess she found out from the news channel cause they called her to ask her questions about the accident....thats a pretty big thing in our town....so ya it was the most tragic thing i have ever witnessed

I think mine was when my ex boyfriend got into a car crash. I couldn't contact him at all and I was so worried. I couldn't do anything coz we lived so far away. But in the end he was okay. So I guess not that tragic anymore...
