yes and it hurts like a mother. the fact that i bruise easily doesn't help.
 one time while playing soccer with these guys, i got kicked twice in the same spot. half an hour later (not even) i had a bruise/lump about 4 inches in diameter.

yes i use to play soccer than football, and even though u got shin gaurds and pads, still hurts like a bitch... hrm..

acutally i got hit in the shins with a hockey stick in P.E. because some fat kid was d*ckin around and i threatened to hit him in the face with my stick and he ran away, muahaha

ohh ya totally know what u mean.....i used to play soccer and my shins were constantly being mistaken for the ball....i ended up developing shin splits from that.
