If you're under the legal drinking age, don't try these with rum. Just replace the rum with water. Everyone else, enjoy. shifty.gif

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Creamy Strawberry Daiquiris

1 cup crushed ice
1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
1/2 cup light rum
1/3 cup frozen pink lemonade concentrate, thawed
1 pint vanilla ice cream

Combine all ingredients in a blender container; process until mixture is smooth. Serve immediately.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Passion Fruit Daiquiri

2/3 cup light rum
1/4 cup lime juice
1/4 cup superfine sugar
4 passion fruits
2 cups crushed ice
1 sliced lime for garnish (optional)

In a blender, combine the rum, lime juice and sugar. Add pulp from the passion fruit (seeds and all). Blend until smooth. Strain out seeds. Return purée to blender. Add ice a little at a time until the mixture becomes thick and slushy. Pour into glasses and garnish with the lime slices.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Strawberry-Banana Daiquiris *MY FAVORITE*

1 (3 ounce) can frozen daiquiri mix
1/2 cup plus 1/8 cup light rum
10 ounces strawberries, partially thawed
1 fully ripe banana

Put all ingredients into a blender and add ice cubes to within 1 inch of the top of ingredients. Blend. Add more cubes and blend until thick and smooth.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Peach Daiquiris

1 (10 ounce) package frozen peaches
1 (6 ounce) can frozen lemonade
concentrate, thawed and undiluted
1 cup water
3/4 cup rum

Combine all ingredients in a blender container; process until smooth. Spoon into a freezer container, and freeze. Let stand at room temperature 15 minutes or until slushy before serving.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Pineapple Daiquiri

1/2 large fresh pineapple
1 (6 ounce) can pineapple juice
1/2 cup light rum
1/2 (6 ounce) can frozen limeade concentrate
1 cup crushed ice

Remove pineapple from shell; core and cut fruit into chunks. Freeze until firm. Mix half of pineapple chunks, pineapple juice, rum and limeade in blender. Whir at high speed until blended. Add remaining pineapple and ice. Blend until frothy.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Banana Daiquiri

1/2 cup fresh lime juice
1/2 cup white rum
2 large bananas, plus 4 slices for garnish
2 tablespoon sugar
2 cups ice cubes

Combine ingredients in a blender; blend until smooth, and garnish with a slice of banana.

Makes 4 (6 ounce) drinks.

OH, YUM!
Those sound soooo good.
I love daiquiris. x] I've only had non-alcoholic ones, however. T_T *mumbles something about parents*
