i've come to the conclusion that people vote for who are just like them. my good friend sean is a complete idiot and he's voting for bush. and yes, i'm saying everyone who is voting for bush is a dipshit. don't e-mail me. and if you want, all the cowards are voting for kerry. i'm being fair and balanced! take that fox.

^hahahahahahahahaha. yeaaa.

not really, though. kerry is a rich vet with 3 purple hearts, a prestegious award. i'm a poor underachieving possible draft dodger who lives in the underclass suburb of a city in the shidder. theres 3 differencess right there.

I don't support Bush or Kerry. Right now I am waiting to hear out both sides before I vote. As with any Presidential Election, there will always be downsides to both candidates. Where the "good" in Bush is concerned it is mainly associated with how he dealt with 9/11. Some people may argue that his actions only led to more destruction and I will give in to that, to an extent. But if he had dealt with it any other way... America would have been seen as a country where terrorism is taken lightly and it would have opened us up to more attacks. I will admit though, they played the whole "terrorism" front out.

As for a draft, if Kerry wants to increase the size of our Army, it will probably only mean extra benefits or bonuses for people who join. Something that makes people join... something to entice. Drafts are only institued in times of great need for military and our last draft was during the Vietnam War. Besides... only Congress can OK a draft.

The Vietnam War wasn't against anyone like terrorists, so I'd let Bush finish the war...

As for the economy, it's not Bush's fault. If you look back in history, a lot of good presidents were out-voted because of an uncontrollable thing like economy.

do you know where most people who don't chicken out are today? they're dead. the only difference is that he's making everyone in the US not chicken out and, therefore, killing us all. fighting only causes more fighting

I think he means the Vietnamese... And he had a reason for killing Vietnamese people ... he was ordered to. Don't blame wars on the soldiers.

If you want to think it that way, ryf, then it's like arguing whether bombing the Japanese in WW2 was right. We killed lots of people. The Japanese still did not give up. Then we used the bomb. They surrendered. There was at least something that came out of it?

The death rate in Iraq is less than the number of deaths in many other wars. Not like we should be happy about deaths anyway...

i'm not gunna die for a govt. that turns out to be bull$hit. i'd rather being a living coward than a dead pawn.

so you're calling me a coward for not defending my country, but calling kerry a coward for doing the opposite? what if it were vietnam that supposedly had WMDs? would you kill your people to protect this country?

oh, and debates aer better won with facts and and ideas rather than childish namecalling and apathy.

me, nor Albert Einstein, think it was right to drop little boy or fat man. sure, it got the job done, but their could have been a more humane method for peace, perhaps.

i don't think Bush was beaten. It's just that everyone was expecting Bush to destroy Kerry, but that didn't happen.

At least Bush didn't get a manicure instead of visiting the hurricane victims.

Bush is also supporting the Patriot's Act. In my opinion, the Patriot Act is rewritting the Constitution because it is allowing agencies to look everything on you and what you are doing if someone anonymously accuse you of being a terrorist. It is like back in the days when the Red Scare was around, people were EXILED because they were accused of being a Commie even though they weren't. I don't want McCarthyism to come back.

The Patriot Act is nothing more than the collection of multiple bills and laws passed by Clinton during his administration. Theyre just wrapped with a nifty little bow and a new title.

Tell me what Kerry could've done diffently for 9/11 while remembering that Kerry supported the war.

As for Intelligence, I hope you realize that British and Russian Intel also said there WMDs in Iraq. Why are you putting the blame on ONE person? Remember that the President looked for Congress's approval for war! So know that Congress supported fighting as well.

Tell me, what would Kerry have done that would differ from Bush?

Humph, it's not so much that "so many people out there like Bush", it's more like we're seemingly choosing the lesser of two evils with logical deductions, and hoping that it is the right choice for the next 4 years.

^ The above is only a repitition of what've been said over and over and over again in reply to blatant Bush-haters questions/opinions.

+ adding:

going into war with only a little help from others? notice how america is 90%+ of the deaths in iraq.

also, did anyone ever ask the majority of iraq if they wanted a new leader? you can't just give a fighting country democracy quickly when at least a little less than half of it doesn't want democracy. mtv did a report in iraq and asked young people there if they thought anything was that much different now that saddam is out of power and one said "not really. there's just a little less statues around."

it's not our job to take other country's leaders out of power and take the country into our own hands.

America's 90% of the deaths in iraq because America was the only foreign country in there. It was our job, and we could handle it - why call the cavalry when we easily have the victory?

Nobody said we would give them democracy quickly, it's going to be a gradual shift from the monarchial rule of Hussein.
