The Jews were exiled both by the Babylonians and the Romans. This was the Diaspora. Later, they were reassigned the land in the Balfour Declaration, i think. And then, the occupants of the land, who were the Palestinians were mad when Israel was created. In 1948, Syria, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan and Lebanon attacked Israel, but Israel won. Hundreds of thousands of Palestinian refugees fled to Arab nations, but they refused to accept them. Then, the Israelis launched an attack on Egypt, because Israel thought Egypt and Syria were going to invade Israel. Again, Israel won. They got the Sinai peninsula, Golan Heights, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, as well as East Jerusalem. 6 years later, Egypt and Syria attack Israel during Yom Kippur. Israel is caught off guard, but manages to pull of yet another win i think. I think they gave back some land there, and that's where we are today.

Based on the above, I am siding with the Israelis.

Ehh, maybe it was. This was older material. Still, they could not return to the land because when they had left, other people moved in.

They didn't really "invade" Egypt. They launched a preemptive strike on their airbases, because they were afraid that Egypt was planning an invasion.

all i've ever seen sikdragon coment on this thread is how the land belongs to israelis because of some promise God made and fighting a war and stuff.

Hmmm? Other than the Suez War where Britain and France helped, Israel has been alone, usually against multiple arab nations.

I was born in Israel and speak hebrew. I wouldn't want my familly kicked out of homes they have been in for years, I also don't want that for the arabic people. But the religous freaks wont share.

Under International Law and Geneva Convention Laws Israel is Illegally Occupying Palestine. I dont condone the act of suicide bombers but if the most part of your life you and your family are being dehumanized, taken out of your land and not being able to do what you want in your own country ie go to hospital it is the only thing they can do. Most palestinian families living in arab jerusalem are having their home destroyed because they didnt have a permit yet they have been living their for years and years, The Israeli army should get the F out of Palestine.. it isnt their land and was never their land, they abadoned it a long time ago. If Israel can COLONIZE palestine then that will give other countries the right to Colonize the US and then i bet peoples opinions would change... Open your eyes people!
