people misspell my name wrong all the time. jonn, not john, or jon. jonn. even like on my screen name on msn says "Jonn", people STILL spell it wrong.

Yeah, my last name.
"Liu" has been spelled "Lui", "Lu", "Loo", and "Lou", countless times. People also pronounce it "loo", instead of "lee-ou". |

I get called all kinds of names.
I seriously don't see the connection between 'Margret' and 'Megz'. And I get called 'Maggie', 'Melissa', 'Morgan'. >.< It's MEG! Plain and straight. And then there's my last name.... Ugh, it's got four syllables. Not five. And it's got so many 'a's in it..... You need EVERY one of them. But worst of all are my middle names. -.-u Callista and Yoshimi get mis-pronounced so often it's tragic. How do you CALL-e-stah from that? Or Yo-SHEH-mi? Geez..... |

i always get the whole, "Is that with a C or a K?" `cause my reeeeeeeal name begins with one of those letters and there are many different ways of spelling it. a couple people called me "Christine" before, too. how they got that? i have nooOooOo freakin idea...

people just don't like to change from what they know.. i guess that's why they mispronounce names they've never seen before..
my name is Audris and people always mispronounce it.. very weird.. i always tell them that it's like "Audrey" but with an -s and with a short -i sound. people still get it wrong.. the weirdest is... "aarti." iono where that came from but someone just called me that.. whatever.. doesn't really bug me.. unless of course i know them for a long time and they still don't know my name..
