  mine...parades(not sure...thats wat I heard)...game...dance..stuff like that...lol |

Parades..
Football.. Dance.. LYKE SHOW YOUR SCHOOL SPIRIT!!!! week. Stuff like that. >_> Shizzy, it's boring, I'm sure. Don't know, however. I'm not in high school, yet.. but we have to the SHOW YOUR SCHOOL SPIRIT!!!!!!! shat at t3h junior high, as well. v.v It's laaaame. >_> |

Ok, i'm in college. So we have a LOT for Homecoming. Lol.
All the clubs on campus compete in three things: window painting, banner making and float building. A month beforehand, clubs start fighting and claiming for their window "space" and banners are made. Floats must be present in the parade around the village at the end of the week. And all the floats must stay in tact through the entire parade. If any part of it falls apart... they are automatically disqualified. And then through out the week, we have impersonators in the University Center, a pep rally, Casino Night, voting for Homecoming King and Queen, interview process for King and Queen and it ties in with Family Weekend too. So all of the families come out and celebrate with us and go to broadway shows, fairs, carnivals etc. The alumni come back and play games of various sports (mostly scrimmage) and then we have Oktoberfest with the Mens and Womens Soccer Game (We dont' have football). So yeah... that's the basic jist of our Homecoming. It's a lot to prepare for and administration is very uptight because everything must be perfect for all the parents and alumni. But its a lot of fun. And the week after THAT, is Midnight Madness!!!!  (Which is the tipoff to start the basketball season at exactly midnight)

We have a parade. Decorations in our houses and whoever has the best, we get a prize for our houses or something or merits.

wow,i i've been in high school for3 years already, and i'm still not sure what my school does. i don't really pay attention. hmm, we have a football game, and i think there's a dance. i dunno what else though.

we dont have a parade, but each class has a day where they have 2 make props and design a "set" having to do with our theme. last year it was movies, and our class choose pirates of the Caribbean. so we had a huge ship and a fort. it was coo. also u get class pts and if u dress up as the theme for ur class, u get class pts. so we have a hc week, not day.
then on that friday of hc week, we have the HC game and then dance |
