Actually. WAIT.. did you do it so that you burned it as a CD< not a mp3 disc? Whenever you burn songs from your computer onto a disc, the song is converted to a .wav file, which plays on your cd player. .wav files are really high quality music files, usually ranging from 30 to 40 MB depending on the length of the music file.
So you should consider using Nero Express because it's really easy, if you haven't already done so. Actually, the cd SHOULD be finalized, by itself. ONLY if the music files that you want to burn onto the disc has a total size that is larger than what your disc will hold, SOMETIMES it asks you if you want to "finalize", which somehow makes the files a tiny bit smaller but it makes it fit on the disc, but this only happens if you're at most 10 MB over the cd limit. Do you know what I'm saying? Anyway, are you sure you burned your songs right? Make SURE you click Audio Disc for your type of burning for the disc or w/e it is called in Nero Express. |

And I mean, when SONGS are converted over to the .WAV file format, doesn't it become about 40 MB? Okay, maybe it was about 20 to 30 MB if the file is a .wav format. And you can't play .wma (for windows media player) files on a cd player.. Trust me, I've tried... |

u gotta make sure ur disc is finalized , or closed, before u can play it on a cd player....and it's gotta be the right format....most cd's use trk files, which are usually converted by your burning software if u choose the "audio" function

Not all cd players support .wma format.
.wma does allow a cd to hold more songs since it smaller, I think about 100 songs or so on 1 cd depending on the size of the file which is true for all formats. And yes, you got to make sure it finalized. |
