Confused..., in need of some advice |

My boyfriend and I just broke up. We broke up because he was getting back into drugs.. mainly "X". I don't want to tell him what not to do, but I want to make it clear to him that I cannot be involved with him if he is going to be into drugs. Yes I love him, and yes i should accept him the way he is.. but I just cannot be with a guy who does drugs. Am I actually telling him what to do? Please respond.. I need some quick advice..

actually u r telling him what to do.... just go up to him and say what will u pick, me or drugs.... and see what he says.... if he says u then try to help him to stop doing drugs if he says drugs then just dump him girl and be strong no matter if u still love him cause its ur lyf that u wanna live to the fullest.... not his...... its his choice that he wanna do drugs.... he is messing up his own lyf..... dont make that mess up urs too....

no ur not tellin him what to do, its not like ur saying "its either me or drugs. u choose." he does what he wants and u do wut u want. i understand how u feel. no matter how much i like a person i cant stand ppl that smoke -_- but.. yeah... i mean jus make it clear that ur breakin it off cuz hes doin drugs and not because u lost feelings. maybe if u told him how bad drugs are he'll stop?

you know what.. i use to smoke and do WEED T.T but then the girl i liked said stop please... and that really got to me... maybe he'll get a wake up call... if he doesn't then thats his loss you know

You're not telling him what to do first of all. You're simply worried about him and you love him. Like many people said, ask him a simple question. "Me or drugs. Take your pick." If he hesitates for a long while, girl...just leave his ass. It shouldn't take THAT long to answer a question.

well obviously if u dont want ur guy to do drugs then dont be with him..its not all he wants..u have wants to and if u want to be with a guy tht doesnt do drugs, then dont be with with a guy who does drugs..
if he doesnt like it, then thts to bad for him. hes the one doing drugs so he brought it up to himself. |

i think he needs help. if he's into drugs then you should help him find a treatment center. here's the thing tho. if he goes into treatment, technically it's unhealthy to be in a relationship for about a year. it can be stressful and get him back into his old habits. basically your going to have to let him go. trust me, i know.

i think you should tell him that you love him, and the reason you want him to stop (but you're gonna have to tell him what to do in this case) is for his own sake, and that you dont want the one you love have their life go down the drain
