Aim has cause an error

umm what's with this, is this normal? it's happened to me A LOT, and once i click close it keeps coming back >.< and i can't open up aim untill i restart my computer
how do i fix it?

edit:::::: again::::: you can barely see it, but it says somethin like "Aim has caused an error in KERNEL32.DLL

I don't know your problem but AIM is very unstable. I'm not going any further than version 5.5.

You might want to reinstall AIM as a suggestion.

if it a kernel32.dll error, it usually means kernel is infected with a virus or something. AIM doesn't mess up with kernel( from what I know)

I suggest scanning your computer for viruses/adware/spyware stuff.

then if you have to, try reinstall AIM.
