Do you know why.., birds poop is white?

People's poop is brown.
My mom said if you don't eat meat or was it vegetables much...your poop can be yellow green.

Iono about other animals, but sometimes birds poop is white..and sometimes brown...Does anyone know why it's white?

i think you just explained it.. birds tend to be more attracted to like bread and stuff so guess they get no meat =P

well i saw national geographic a while ago and they said dat panda poop was green cuz all they ate was grass....

lol this is the kind of crap (TEHE pun!) that me and my friends talk about randomly....haha thats funny; but like every one else said...its cause they dont eat meat...and there are also seeds in their poop and birds eat seeds ¬.¬ so i guess it just takes on a distorted color of what they eat....like we eat foods of all kinds of weird colors and when lots of different colors get together they make brown! ^-^ its elementary my dear watsons!

lol @ this topic..... yeah, roxanne! i have a cockatiel too and his poop is green...and he doesnt eat lettace (well, we just dont feed him)...all he eats is millet...o_O

Unlike mammals, birds don't urinate. Their kidneys extract nitrogenous wastes from the bloodstream, but instead of excreting it as urea dissolved in urine as we do, they excrete it in the form of uric acid. Uric acid has a very low solubility in water, so it emerges as a white paste.

My hamster's poop is brownish/black but sometimes its green. And he doesn't eat meat... to why bird's poop is white, idk...

Their digestive system is different.
Their stomach acid turns it a different color.
