Sorry if it's a bit too long...I'd appreciate anyone reading it.

Deception. Innocence blankets it. Naivete causes us to be unaware and overlook it. Whatever protects it, It is unavoidable. One way or another, we seem to get our share of it...Our delictable little hearts tainted with the sorrowful taste of betrayal.

High school can flood us with it, Yet it becomes common, expected. It gets to a certain point where, you find yourself questioning every friendship you have in high school that you can endlessly list. Paranoia plagues the willingness to create new friendships, or even progress with current ones. It's frustrating, really. You'll form bonds with one, two, or even a small group of friends. Slowly it'll break apart, and what's left is jack sh*t - the remnants of what you thought would be a long lasting strong circle of friends. Afterwards, there's that one from the bunch that just...Doesn't bother to walk up and say 'Hi' anymore. And just like that, What you thought of as meaningful friendship, could possibly be as fake as the forced 'Hi' you make them utter when YOU walk up to THEM. Doubt rushes in, And you begin to question the rest of them...then proceeding to question no one else but yourself...

It's sad how another's inconsideration or plain deception thrown at you can bring about such self-insecurities. And it doesn't just apply to being decieved by someone, But in general, someone else's crude remarks, judgements, or tasteless act towards you. And sadly, high school reaps that all in - And on top of it, so much more. We're so much exposed to such bs that it deteriorates one's character, leaving that individual lost, and anything but self-aware. Sadly, he/she will stray off until that person scuttles into another clique, only to once again have decpetion kick him or her in the ass, for behind that facade of welcoming smiles and seemingly warm-hearted laughter, is another betrayal of 'friendship' looming above.

The drama high school drags in...As if you didn't get enough outside of it...
