Who is your favourite? Mine would be The Clash.

punk bands like NOFX and Green Day are NOT punk bands.

zildjian eh? you play teh drums..? well anyways.. i have too many fav punk bands.. but uhm one of my favs is brand new (Are they punk?) if they aren't then oohh well.. i like emo..

yeah im more into emo too.

how about the ramones and the sex pistols? they are punk right?

ish i think he would say those arent punk, but yeah those bands are great.

Uhh Brand New and Taking Back Sunday are definitely emo, but other than that, I agree. NOFX is punk...I listen to Anti-Flag (representing the Pittsburgh punk scene), and I love this local band called National Crisis. wub.gif I also like old AFI. _smile.gif

i love taking back sunday...is that punk?? man, people need to stop giving music so many names. theres liek a gazillion type of rocks. well anyways, I think goldfinger is punk so i'll say goldfinger too! biggrin.gif

The Clash. weee. They're about the only band that I listen to that people would call punk without a huge debate about it.

i could actually debate wether the clash were punk or not LOL, any thing could be debated under the punk music scene nowadays

you know who i think is punk?
the velvet undergound&nico
muuchhh f**kin punk, because they(and this) came before the "punk" scene even came upon the music industry with bands such as Sex Pistols, the Ramones(who were created by their label, not out of their "punkness" or "individuality" and before the Clash, the New York Dolls and MC5.
and..that's just my opinion!

the casualties are the most punk band in the world. they're even moe punk than me.

NOFX is DEFINATELY punk, man.
<3 NOFX. They're awesome.

Green Day is punk, too.. at least I consider them punk.
I absolutely love them. =-] Can't wait for their CD.. coming to stores the 21st of this month, w00t!

Yeah. I loooove Sum 41. I know they're sorta pop-punkish, but whatever. I love them. They're awesome. Can't wait for their latest CD due out in October! :D

Hmm.. I LOOOOOOOVE The Offspring.
Their old stuff and some of their new stuff is considered punk. Or at least I consider them punk. They're probably my 2nd favorite band. They rock, d00d.

psh.. 2 many freakin labels these days. but if we must label, then taking back sunday and all american rejects aren't really punk persay.. but i love all american rejects. taking back sunday is just to.. emo for me. laugh.gif

im a HUGEEEEE fan of AFI, the old and the new. breaking benjamin is kicka** too. i love nine inch nails.. i love that one song by marilyn manson 2.. personal jesus. havnt heard much else by him since i kinda hav 2 sneak around to listen to it... _dry.gif parents are stupid.

hahah! you missed some. lol. emo/screamo/hardcore/punk/pop punk/ rock/metal/ alternative/ska/indie/grunge and like a gazillion others.
