I was in math class in 6th grade... I remembered it quite clearly. We were working on our booklets and Mrs. Booth turned on the T.V. At first, I thought that it was some kind of movie. So I looked around. I was in 6th grade so I was a bit immature and started asking all these dumb questions (one kid told me to shut up haha).

I was in such a daze the rest of the day, I went to the wrong 5 period class. I dunno, everyone seemed like they were in a trance.

I remember really clearly. I was in 6th grade in my homeroom and we were all sitting around waiting to leave for our field trip to some farm place that day (my schools out in the country lol). my teacher that year was new and only 22, so he was sitting at his desk playing with a slinkie and one of the other 6th grade teachers walked in with this really worried look on her face..once she told him his face got pale, he turned on the TV and we started watching. It took me a while to realize what was actually happening, that people were dying at that very moment from the attack. we still went on the field trip, and once we got back we didnt do much the rest of the day, just waited for updates on the places that got attacked.

I was in 5th grade, in class.
The principal made the announcement to us.
I didn't really get it, because I was stupid like that.
But then I did, and I was shocked.

I remember clearly...
I was in my 5th grade Language Arts class, really happy to go to math class to present my project, when the principle made annocement saying "All Teachers please turn the t.vs, no tv is to be on!" and no one really suspected anything was happending just that they were fixing something, then the lady at the front desk was all "Davon your moms here to check you out" and we heard all this chaos thru the intercom then my teacher was all okay. i had thought something happened to like my sister like she got sick, cause my mom always tells me when shes picking me up early... and i walk to the office, and saw all these parents and my mom was all, come on... we need to leave now! I'll tell you about it at home... when we got home my whole family was watching it on the news, and i started to cry, and for the next few days we talked about it about school, and wrote about it, I wrote a really good poem about how i wish everything was as simple as baby times! sad.gif

I was sleeping. I woke up and left for class. As I walked out the dorm through the lobby, I noticed a large crowd gathered around the TV and thats how I found out...

I was at school, and I was in fourth grade...
I just remember how everyone was leaving, everyone was confused because they didnt tell us crap on the PA announcement thingamabobber, and then my dad picked me up and told me the world trade center was falling, and then I thought of my sister, who went to Stuyvesant High School, a few blocks away, and I wondered how she would get home.

Thankfully, she did.

And please, what if he WAS in a plane? Calm the hell down, this is a thread for reflecting, not scolding someone. Just please, keep it to yourself in the future. mellow.gif

I was in school, like most people. We had an assembly and found out what happened, then we prayed for a few minutes. Lots of people were upset. Then we went to lunch. The rest of the day we were listening to radios. (We don't get the news on our tvs)

I was skipping school and on my way to Burger King in my car. Heard it on the radio, got scared, and went home instead. Mom asked why u skipping skool and yelled at me. She didn't believe and thought some f**king movie was playing on tv and bitched at me. I was heated. Took about 2 days until she reliezed it was real. AND I still got no sorries or hugs or ne thing. So mad...

HATE IT WHEN GROWN UPS DON'T BELIEVE WHAT U SAY CAUSE U YOUNGER THAN THEM
