i had this dream the other night that i told my ex boyfriend (who is currently dating my best friend) that i was truly and completly in love with him and i just can't stop thinking about it. do you guys think dreams reveal like "hidden feelings" from your subconscious???!

it could be that you do, it could be that you don't. dreams don't necessarily tell you the truth but maybe represent something else. they're pretty much impossible to interpret properly or in a 'right' way so your dream could have meant plenty or nothing at all. just try to relax, as hard as that may be.

Ehh, sometimes, sometimes not..I had a dream once that I stabbed my best guy friend to death, but in reality I love the guy like a brother and would never do anything to hurt him. but most of my dreams are like that, far from reality. I guess it just depends on what kind of dreams you have. If you usually have pretty realistic dreams, then maybe you do still have feelings for him. If your dreams are like mine, I wouldnt even worry about it.

hm...i really dont kno, i dream about my ex if he tells me about things that has to do with other girls, probably cus i still lik him since we jus broke up a while ago. i guess some dreams you get is from what you've been thinking a lot lately or something.

i believe that realistic dreams happen usually from the person's thoughts. like, if a person has been thinking about..say...shoes, for the past 24 hours or so, they'll probably have a dream about shoes.
or at least..thats the case with me.

I'm a psychology major and I'm a Junior in College. In reality dreams are only a way of relieving stress, even when you don't remember them. Dreams can be totally irrelevant to your stress, but sometimes it can be related to it.
In my opinion...you knew you were in love with your ex, but to you, your dream gave you that confirmation, ya know? Or maybe you wanted to think it was in your subconscious when it was truly one of your main thoughts. Something like that at least. Dreams are a stress reliever...don't think otherwise...it complicates things
